Ray C (de) wrote: Strange japanese movie about the pains of high school. School girl cop with a yoyo? Alright, I'll watch that just for the concept. Found this movie lacking in pace. Very slow for an action movie. Some plot lines unfinished. Gotta love the yoyo showdown in leather.

Lisa S (ag) wrote: The great actors in the movie give the best performances they can, but the story lets the audience down, especially the ending. I think the major problem I had with this movie was that I was confused about what Lee was really trying to get across to me. Plus, I'm a college student and still I cannot relate to the experiences of any of the characters. I don't even know anyone in a sorority or fraternity. This is a good attempt at ( I think) exploring cultural identity, but I think Lee could have done a better job at it. Overall, an interesting movie if you were ever in a frat or sorority, and like the music in the film, but if that doesn't describe you, this movie will leave you hanging.

Kim B (it) wrote: The kind of movie I wanted to love more than I actually loved... like pretty much ALL of the Truffaut I've seen. Which disappoints me. It's not like this movie wasn't expertly made and the actors weren't great... but it was just so unfocused! Which maybe was the point... but it didn't do anything for me. I felt so bad for the Leaud character, though. His part of the movie kept me interested.

Kelly W (kr) wrote: The movie was ok in its own right, but I feel that as part of the "meet the parents/fockers" series, it was a massive let-down
