For all the idiots who in their reviews keep talking about how silly it was that the house broke down in only a year, must have forgotten that at the beginning of the movie the sisters asked their father when was he going to complete the much needed repairs on the house.Duh....that's why the house fell apart after only a year. Let's see you survive like they did for a year and a half without electricity

Knowing Deathstoke (main antagonist), he is extreme difficult to deal with even for Batman. If this was explained more clearly than I would have been able to comprehend a little more.As for story, it's a pretty average Batman movie. The New 52 movie's voice actors lack some depth to their voice and sometimes this can be irritating. Son of Batman did slightly better when emotional moments were involved but you can tell they can do better.Overall, Son of Batman doesn't achieved what I've hoped or beyond but it's worth a rewatch.

(jp) wrote: Sum gud acting in it, but a depressing film, don't go 2 c if u need cheering up lol
(es) wrote: I thought this would be funny because it had Spencer Rice from one of my favourite shows Kenny vs. Spenny in it. I was sadly mistaken because it was super boring and not believable as a mockumentary.
(ca) wrote: I absolutely loved the books as a kid, and I can still appreciate them now, but this movie was an unfunny let down.
(ca) wrote: nope. Just nope. Panders to the "torture porn" crowd. It attempts to be deep and philosophical about the creation of "martyrs" but really its all about torturing a woman to death. Sorry, nothing novel or worth recommending here.
(nl) wrote: I suppose NINJA CHEERLEADERS's script is a decent dispensary for softcore porn; that's in spite of some excruciatingly pitiful, amateurish choreography (even worse than the debut season of BtVS!) and skunky, low-class rock music. In an overarching sense, it is pretty interesting how cool ninjas and hot cheerleaders are blended, even when wasteful self-justification still sometimes happens. And some particular elements of the script are surprisingly decent -- the flashback interludes to police interrogation are pretty lazy dialogue-wise, but pretty cool story-wise. The rest are clearly awful: the weird cheerleading-coach molestation; the awkward Napoleon "These girls are actually smart!" hogwash; or the ugly anti-misogyny sadism ("What's up with all the nut-crushing?" / Indeed!). On a side note, George Takei has a campy coolness that's pretty interesting; I like his irrepressibly maniacal laugh.

(ca) wrote: disappointing...but Jon was amazing as usual...yummy
(au) wrote: "I don't like resorting to violence. But men are evil. They need healing." Debbie Harry delivers this line with seething passion. It is yet a number of cleverly timed cameos. But this line fairly sums up a lot of what we see. Jonas kerlund's "Spun" was largely dismissed by critics at the time of its release. I disagreed then as I do now. Akerlund's experimental, dark, grim, comical and twisted plunge into addiction is a unique and adrenaline-fueled subversively entertaining ride of a movie. A speed freak who's insanity seems to be hanging on by a strained thread is led into a three day bender of an adventure after his stripper/dealer pulls him into the meth-cook who creates "the fuel" upon which this junkie lives. As tragic as it is funny. Profane yet sometimes touching. Akerlund never let's up on his hyper-drive style. Mickey Rourke resurrected his career, Brittany Murphy breaks your heart, John Leguizamo makes us laugh and Jason Schwartzman is our very unreliable protagonist. "Spun" is not worried about the fact that it offends and shocks. It doesn't care what we think. It is an amazing work of art.
(au) wrote: Touching and amusing adaptation of a stage play about love, relationships and sexual attitudes. Interesting early role for Russell Crowe as a gay man living with his widowed father. Some nice performances and the few minutes of Rebekah Elmaloglou on screen pleasingly pleasure the old eyeballs.

(gb) wrote: This is one of the stupidest movies I have ever seen, however like many similarly dumb movies it does have its entertaining moments. To start with the plot is about as farfetched as they come. **SOME SPOILERS ** During a routine check to allow a boy into the airforce it comes to this FBI guy's attention that the boys parents are either the undead or are using fake names. Now the FBI agent has to do some snooping and finds out that the boy's parents are in fact Russian sleeper spies and that other sleeper spies in the region are being killed one by one by a rogue Russian spy! the FBI agent tells the boy who predictably does not believe that his all-American parents could be Russian spies but after he does some snooping he finds some passports revealing that his parents are Russian and in fact his name is not Jeff Nicholas Grant as he thought but is actually Nikita! We can all guess what's going to go down now. **END OF SPOILERS **So the plot is a big weakness but combined with the terrible script Little Nikita makes all its cast and crew look like amateurs. There is seriously only one reason to watch this movie.....the crazy talented RIVER PHOENIX. Phoenix is the only one able to breathe some light and life into the script and his scenes are the only ones worthwhile watching. In a film that is undeserving of such talent River Phoenix comes away unscathed. His performance is solid even if at certain points he too looks embarrassed both by the lines he has to say and the stereotypical Russians he is playing against. Phoenix was the best actor of his generation and it is a deep tragedy that he was taken so young. My verdict on this film is: AVERAGE script, AVERAGE plot, AVERAGE acting from all but River Phoenix who is great in every part.Little Nikita is the kind of film you may want to catch on TV if you have a couple of spare hours. If you are a fan of River Phoenix then you probably want to check it out but don't expect too much, his performance is good but the movie itself is far from his best.
