Suraj S (br) wrote: It is so unfortunate that this had to be Yash Chopra's last movie. It had all the terrible aspects of almost every Indian movie - a confused love triangle, a Cheeni Kum sort of story between an old man and a young girl, some accident that brings about amnesia, and a lot of praying to God. I don't know how I sat through this movie.

The lighting struck me as glaring but maybe done that way so as to shine some pain onto that opening scene post school afternoon and then the evening. Man! A story of being left to take care of those who left us.

Erik P (es) wrote: This got 3-1/2 stars for its entertainment value, not cinematic quality. Extremely amateurish production and story, but hell, it was fun and the music is classic.
Alexander D (fr) wrote: THRILLER is a fun one. But a quirky one, mind you. It's as if George A. Romero and Kenny Ortega got together, decided to take Michael Jackson's music, and turn it into a tedious cross between a short film and a music video. In other words, the dancing zombies seem awkward, and it feels as if the "un-dead" ones from NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD tried to dance their way to MJ and coax him to join them. I liked it, and it's become a high-budget classic--an almost non-music video one.
