It would have been so easy to stay off the grid for 30 days, especially over in the EU!I am up for the challenge..David Bond...send these PI's after me and I will stay off the grid for two months.

The top-notch animation creates Neo-Tokyo's amazing backdrop, as well as the many chilling sequences that forever are embedded into your memory after viewing this classic. It's a recurring influence in many modern action blockbusters of today, and it's not hard to see why. Gradually you watch in horror as you see the development of human and telekinetic psychology and the manipulation of both within the constructs of its strange and volatile world.

As the main character Jane doesn't speak/understand French well & there was no subtitles, so we can feel a sense of her confusion and mounting fear while the local people were talking around suspiciously. It worked pretty well to develop the tension. Moreover, saw it on a B/W format...which added a bonus cult tone.(An American remake is going to release this year & having Amber Heard on the lead;-)

All that being said I give it one star but i can't say that this film fully deserves it.
