Danny A (es) wrote: It's very boring, they filmed everything.

Cameron M (ru) wrote: As a work of fiction, the level of despair for its title character may seem ill-advised and even amateur, but Precious's despair and story of harsh realism is portrayed greatly by its remarkable cast.

Kyle M (jp) wrote: I can understand all the criticism. Nothing actually "happens" and John Heard is a terrible terrible actor. I think the majority of Americans would either fall asleep or turn it off before they watch this film all the way through. However, I enjoyed it quite a bit. There were a lot of treats for me, such as hearing the great Liv Ullman speak in my native tongue and all the wonderful shots of the legendary Mont St. Michael.

Brian F (us) wrote: I look back at the fight scene with all the kaiju and the recent Godzilla final war fights and thought Destroy all Monsters was much better. Too much human action and not enough Monster mayhem is my only other problem with the movie.

Charles P (kr) wrote: Bringing Up Baby is a brisk pleasure of the screwball comedy genre, and Mr. Grant and Ms. Hepburn are so refreshing I could watch this movie again and again.

Matthew F (jp) wrote: Almost all of his work at Mutual is fantastic, and this one is exactly that. For me, specifically, it's great because of Chaplin playing the violin.

Tim S (au) wrote: There are plenty of things to like about Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. On the surface, it's a fun romp about two valley girl-types that learn as they go to their high school reunion that they may not be as cool as they thought they were back in the day. Under the surface, well, there's nothing really. This isn't a movie that requires you to do a whole lot of thinking, or have something to talk about after it's over. It is what it is, and while I didn't find it laugh-out-loud hilarious, I can certainly see its appeal. I thought it was a charming movie, and it didn't feel dumbed down for audiences. It's definitely a girly sort of movie, but guys can watch it and not feel uncomfortable or bored. Plus Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are great eye candy. You can also spot Alan Cumming and Janeane Garofalo in the supporting cast, as well. It's not a big masterpiece of comedy by any stretch, but it's funny, unoffensive and doesn't contain any cynicism at all.
