Art of Darkness torrent reviews

Marina N (es) wrote: This subject interests me a lot, so, naturally, it hasn't been much of a revelation to me. However, I truly believe that the film holds the potential to open the eyes to the average viewer, and especially to young people. I think that watching this documentary in high school might actually trigger a change in some lost teenager's mind. At least I would like to believe it. What caught my attention the most are the statistics. Although, being a marketing research major at university, I know that you should not trust numbers you haven't manipulated yourself, I still see them as important facts (maybe just out of context to support your view). What I didn't know is that media is targeted at male 18-34 year olds and designs their program accordingly; woman wath TV anyway. Or that 1 in 18 men in the US is either in prison or being monitored. And also the deragatory comments of popular radio and TV people; I really feel compeled to listen closer next time. It's definetely worth a watch.

Eric C (es) wrote: A disappointment. Each little anecdote/story was independently interesting and I liked how they set it up as chapters, but the documentary as a whole tried to be too cute and didn't work. In the interest of full disclosure, I never read the book. But I would guess that should skew my rating higher because I didn't know the findings of the little studies. Like I said, it was a disappointment.

Michael S (kr) wrote: Van Damme plays it straight, perhaps too straight, in this dull action flick. Devoid of any real thrills or any camp value. Just lots of bad Russian accents, a few broken wrists, and one homoerotic fight in a bath house.

Ben B (es) wrote: Poor Richard. Poor, poor Richard Williams. It is very sad to learn that this film was intended to be the greatest animated film ever. It could have been the greatest, simply because of Vincent Price and some of the best 2D animation I've ever seen. But Williams' pet project was eventually taken away and ripped to shreds, resulting in the abomination we see now. If you want to see the true film, I command you to watch the Recobbled Cut immediately.

Richard G (nl) wrote: Not as good as the first film but still fun andf its as camp as a row of tents, the Traps are still quite inventive and Vincent Price steals every scene he's in,whats good is it does'nt try to repeat the first film and it goes in a different directio and plot, added bonus is a brief appearance from Peter Cushing, good film.

Karsh D (br) wrote: Silly caper where Trinder and pals get caught in a storm at stonehenge and sent back in time. A few clever gags with some songs thrown in. That's your lot really.

Roy C (kr) wrote: A Southern supremacist vampire tale with cheesy, yet jarring, special effects.
