Carlos M (es) wrote: A clever yet uneven comedy that may be too downbeat for everyone's tastes as it raises sharp questions about our society with a lot of political incorrectness, but it is a pity that it remains only one step back from being truly hilarious, even though it does have its inspired moments.
Mark M (ca) wrote: This is one very funny movie.Anne Bancroft and Dom DeLuise were great together. But eat a full meal before watching to avoid raiding the refrigerator.
Scott P (ru) wrote: Had a lot of potential, but at some point the story falls short and fails to deliver. Ends up being more of a "what could have been" type movie. Worth watching at least once if you're curious.
James H (fr) wrote: A nicely constructed film, wonderfully acted, funny and touching. I liked director Georgina Garcia Riedel's style, very perceptive and detailed. It is a little overlong, but overall a rewarding movie.
Terry I (mx) wrote: A small movie with a big heart, anchored by Collette's monumental performance & stunning photography. A slow start gives way to shocking plot twist that propels the film's existential sensibility.
Kyle G (fr) wrote: I really enjoyed the diverse cast & general feeling of realism in this. I feel like this film represents London amazingly well. The artistic color hues and hotel setting remind one of "The Shining." Senor Juan is a masterfully-scripted and memorable villain: he is sleazy and unfeeling but practical and useful to illegal immigrants (for a price, but still- he's good at what he does). I liked the main characters, but Audrey Tautou is so beautiful her scenes can be hard to watch.

Jeremy P (gb) wrote: This tries to be more intellectual than it actually is, but it does give the viewer stuff to think about. Some really nice montage sequence stuff and a fairly interesting plot make for a nice watch. This does commit some "indie" crimes, but not so much that it seems vague (actually, it's pretty easy to follow). A good find.
