Martyna S (gb) wrote: Melissa McCarthy is playing a character so vulgar that I wasn't able to finish the movie, it was too painful to keep watching... Way below that actress, who possesses such a great distance to herself! Sandra Bullock's performance was average.

Stuart R (fr) wrote: Enjoyable slasher flick from the Netherlands except for the crazy camera shaking, making it hard to see what is actually happening on screen.

Eileen O (gb) wrote: Was well done! Considering two complete different actors. But in the film they were actually very similar.

Matt R (br) wrote: A chilling supernatural thriller reminescent of 'The Grudge' and 'The Ring'.

Melissa L (ru) wrote: honestly, i only saw (and bought) this because of corey pearson who plays sully, but it was actually funny and the behind-the-scenes footage is even funnier than the movie itself!

Alex K (us) wrote: I can't tell if this movie was trying to be preachy or not as it takes place during the Red Scare, but I enjoyed it. Funny and also full of great talent.

Dana W (de) wrote: casper van dien looks like a ken doll when he's not all rugged looking.

The story... This film, produced by the creators of the "Naked Gun" series, takes on the grim subject of inner city high schools, spoofing such movies as "Dangerous Minds" and "Stand and Deliver." The story concerns an ultra-idealistic teacher who tries to inspire his students to learn. But as with the "Naked Gun"-type films, the plot is merely an excuse for a rapid-fire string of jokes and sight gags that send-up "ghetto life" cliches.

D M (kr) wrote: John Candy, Eugene Levy, George Hamiliton, and few other big names. A comedy that starts in Italy, but takes mostly in Morocco. Two Americans find a lost dog so they try to take it to Morocco to collect to big reward only to find the owner has been killed. They decide not to report it and run away leaving evidence of their presence. Then stupid stuff happens and all the comedy is somehow drained out of the scenes which should be hilarious. The suspense and mystery sucks. If you want to see how a mystery/comedy is supposed to be made, get a Clue.

Philip S (gb) wrote: I'm sure I saw this...I'm pretty sure it wasn't great.

Julian R (kr) wrote: One of the best war movies ever directed.

Jack D (us) wrote: A surprisingly brilliant Scorsese film that's more of a chick flick than his other works, but is just as enjoyable.

Aj V (jp) wrote: An interesting, but unfortunately predictable mystery movie. It has potential, but it doesn't go as far as it needs to.

Bob W (it) wrote: Powerful imagery, frightening nightmarish scenes. The first example of the tragic twist ending later to be perfected in Twilight Zone 40 years later and certainly the first popular horror movie.

Steve W (gb) wrote: Strong performances and focused narrative make this a memorable and gritty coming of age story. It focuses on three youths in 80's Los Angeles, a drug dealer, an up and coming football star, and a college man. The movie is tense and powerful without being preachy, and is one of the more sweeping writer/director debuts.

Debbie S (ca) wrote: I quite liked this little movie because it was cute, funny and sad. I imagine it wasn't popular because there's so much infidelity.
