Assassination begins with the events of 1853 when "four black ships" anchored at Edo Bay, sparking civil unrest and the major political manoeuvring that saw the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate. At a time when assassination had become a disturbing political tool, Shinoda's film follows Hachiro Kiyokawa (Tetsuro Tamba), an ambitious, masterless samurai whose allegiances drift dangerously between the Shogunate and the Emperor.

As Matthew Perry brings Japan into contact with the modern West, an assassin must choose whether to support the Shogunate or reinstall the Emperor. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Loki Conjures Up Enough Magic To Get Them Both Into Trouble On What Will Be An Adventure Of A Lifetime. Don't Be Fooled By The DVD Cover Artwork Into Thinking This Is A Film About An Adult Thor, But It Is One Before the Hammer. The Film Is Short So It's Perfect For Filling In Time. The Film Is Most Likely Based On His Teenage Years Due To The Fact That The Live-Action Film Was Made Roundabout The Same Time.

While this had some funny moments, I especially loved the end, this was just not up to scratch. Average really.

David L (fr) wrote: You can't beat a good creature feature, and this is one of the best examples you could slither across; action packed, comical, unbelievably cheesy, and totally unrealistic, it's ideal viewing for anyone at any time of the year! Despite the fact it has taken a hideous reptile and multiplied its size to a ridiculously stupid level, there's still something very scary about this that is enough to put anyone off going trekking in the jungle, or wading through muddied waters. The casting is great as it offers a good number of representatives from a research company who are jetting off to find a wild flower that can extend life expectancy, along with a couple of guides from the Borneo lakes. Between them there are a diverse bunch of personalities for whom it's not obvious which will live and who will perish in the gut of the beast. The only disappointment is why Matthew Marsden, the former Coronation Street actor has been chosen to fulfil the role of the group villain - he can't act, and he isn't at all menacing, which actually made me enticed to the film more, just to see his puny body be constricted by a nest of mating Anaconda's. The CGI in this is credible and doesn't detract from the movie in any way (unlike the two sequels), and overall it's basically a pretty solid continuation of the 90's original.

Jason D (de) wrote: Screwballs is pure, classic 80's sex comedy at its finest. At a random high school (in America I'm assuming since they hang American flags even though this is a Canadian film), five random friends are all placed in detention thanks to the snooty, Homecoming Queen Purity Busch. Soon, the five friends concoct a plan to have sex with her, which finally gets taken down to just seeing her breasts since its next to impossible to get with Purity. Along the way, every guy tries some kind of method that winds up failing, though they go off the path quite a bit to score looks at other titties and have sex with other hot women all throughout the film, throwing out sex pun after sex pun. Plenty of jack off jokes, titty jokes, and shit jokes to boot as well. In the end, the gang concocts one last scheme to see Purity's breasts, which succeeds in a blaze of glory that has EVERYONE celebrating. Screwballs gets the job done by delivering a surprisingly funny 80's slapstick sex comedy. There are plenty of jokes and titties all throughout the run time. A couple of cons include some botched jokes that fall flat in the middle, where the story also suffers from awkward editing. Also, in the big finale, its great that the guys finally get to see Purity's tits, but the viewers were there for the journey as well and would have liked for a better look at them without the credits rolling over them constantly. Still, not a bad film though the Canadian interpretation of a sex comedy is much more different than an American, which is probably why many do not prefer this film. Even though its just titty comedy, it's good to be a little bit cultured. Pretty decent.
