Martin N (de) wrote: Another found footage film. Reminiscent of The Descent, but plays out in the sewers of Sydney and on a shoe string budget. They tried a little too hard to give it atmosphere and realism, by adding unnecessary and unrealistic security camera footage as well as peppering it with post incident interviews - which doesn't work for a horror movie ... for obvious reasons.
Grant K (mx) wrote: The script is a little undercooked and the acting is serviceable. The real reason to see this is Stromare; he transforms himself, completely realizing his character and gives his best performance since "Fargo." Stromare makes this film with his work. And wow, is it one hell of a performance. I must say, "Small Town Murder Songs" is one of the best titles I have ever seen.
Kylie B (jp) wrote: This thing plays like a film student's pet project. The only real thing to recommend it is that some of the women in this are very attractive. The plot just about works as a subcultural cautionary tale, but overall its 90 min that I will never get back.

Scream Queens Linnea Quigley and Michele Bauer star in this, so you know what its full of. They used a set from House. A relatively decent 80s horror-comedy, just too "flat."

John M (nl) wrote: Good Movie, Stupid Ending! The movie is perfectly fine until you get to the ending! [Spoiler Alert] When they haul Gary Cooper into court because he is supposedly crazy for giving away his money is just plain dumb! It sets up an impossibly silly and cornball ending that undoes whatever good qualities this movie has.I have always thought that Frank Capra is an acquired taste, and this movie proves it!
Jayakrishnan R (jp) wrote: 85%Saw this on 24/1/16This is one of the better Coen brothers film's and it didn't make me feel disappointed in the end or regret that I saw this like many of their films such as The Big Lebowski and No Country for Old men. Coen brothers are all style over substance and most of the time, the comedy in their films doesn't make me laugh even for a second, however, it's not the case with Miller's crossing. The best thing about the film is it's background score and the cinematography is not as good as they say it is. It's dialogues are sharp and few of the characters are memorable.
