Performances are consistently first-rate. The character sketches are quite good as well, and it'd be nice to see where they're headed [in a sequel maybe?]. The problem with the flick however, is that it plays out like a TV show with very little reveal in its 'first episode'. Worth a watch for the performances and some situational humour.

Rob D (us) wrote: Great fun, relatable representation of high school years, and a brilliant soundtrack. Also quite funny to see how several Hollywood A-listers made their break.

Spookie M (es) wrote: An amazing performance by the late Zoe Tamerlis and great atmosphere in this female revenge movie directed by Abel Ferrera.

Chad H (gb) wrote: Other than the novelty of this being Arnold Schwarzenegger's first film this film is quite mediocre. But still it is worth some dumb entertainment. Its chock full of bad acting and cliche things all around, but I must say I did find some form of fun from watching this. Schwarzenegger can't speak worth anything in fact he was dubbed over it was so bad. But seeing the original version is its own reward. Its just one of those dumb movies from the 70's. Its astounding that this is Schwarzenegger's first movie, but at the same time he blends right in. He's a mad hulking meat head, its hard to believe the actor inside would wind up to eventually play the Terminator. Watch this movie at your own risk, but if you're in the mood to see some dumb Schwarzenegger moments than this is the movie for you.

Sylvester K (kr) wrote: The reliance on being offensive only gets you this far. InAPPropriate comedy was a disastrous sketch comedy featuring (sadly) top ranked actors, I did not laugh for a single moment, almost cried for Brody's performance.

Stefan G (nl) wrote: While I didn't find this film to be as bad as many critics claimed it was, I certainly feel that it doesn't meet the quality standard that could be expected from Star Trek. The first thing that struck me was that the film opens with a variation of the theme from The Next Generation, which was odd considering that this is based on the original series (which I'd have thought had been milked for all its worth by the mid-1980's). The story itself isn't particularly terrible, but I think it could have been written with more effort behind it. Much of the story just passes me by as though nothing happened, and the downgraded special effects and rusty action scenes don't help the cause. The acting seems to be the film's saving grace, even if William Shatner's performance seems to be mostly derivative of his performance on the original TV series. The beginning of the film actually shows some humour, but the rest of the film takes itself more seriously, and this tends to work against this kind of film. Of the original Star Trek films, it's definitely the worst, but had the writing, script and special effects been handled with more care, it could have been better.

Tammy R (us) wrote: Sleazy, Cornball of a movie. I was not around when this was made and was curious how Rouke looked without all that surgery. Well I was disappointed, horrible now and then. If you enjoy shoulder pads, hairy pits and legs, bad 80s music and hair than watch it. I was not excepting a 5 star movie but maybe get something out of it. The love scences even were horrible.
