Stef (nl) wrote: This is pretty much a love letter from the fans of Calvin and Hobbes to Bill Watterson. Watterson does not appear himself (as the documentary stated, he is the Sasquatch of comic artists), but a lot of other artists do, along with fans of all ages, ready to tell the world how Calvin and Hobbes has inspired them personally. If you're looking for something telling the rise and "fall" of Bill Watterson, or the detailed story of how Calvin and Hobbes came to be, this probably isn't the documentary for you. If you want to share in the excitement and joy the comic strip has brought people, and understand how it manages to live on despite the lack of merchandising, how it manages to create new fans as the years go by, spanning generations, then you should give this a watch.

However, I did not have the opportunity to a) have an all-night adventure involving 17 Very Important Letters, b) work at a law firm abbreviated S & M, or c) impersonate a tax lawyer. This is why I enjoyed living vicariously through this delightful film.

Katarina I (us) wrote: I really enjoyed this movie... it really is true that one person can make you feel special and give you feelings of validation... I really liked the premise behind this movie ... it's so true everyone thinks you have to have everything figured out all the time... there's all this pressure to live a certain way but I think it's more important to be happy than to try to live up to other peoples ideals
