But just seeing and hearing the performances and the energy of all the artists was inspiring! This was a promising time for black artists and you got the sense that they all were very happy/blessed to be a part of such a monumental event! I'm hoping that more of the concert footage can be released on home video!

Awkward. Uncomfortable. Out of sorts. Just not damn right! It feels all wrong. They used the same visual style as the series and the voice acting for Supes and Lois, and damned the rest to hell. Lex sounds like his underwear is 2 sizes too small and he's cracking jokes every 3 minutes. He _should not_ be cackling in wide-eyed glee. Mercy is having a hard time knocking out Jimmy. Superman saves Lois' life by getting to first base with her. The music is cheesily retro 50's or 60's right from the opening credits. Extra features on the DVD? Trailers. That's it. RUSH JOB. Rush right past it and move on to something else.

David P (br) wrote: I really liked the acting of the two leads, but everything else is rather dull. I was confused about the mayor's motives other than to get fat, and more could have been done with a rather interesting plot. Saoirse Ronan is great in her role, it was worth watching for her and Harry Treadaway (as I stated before). Otherwise, not impressive or as exciting as the poster.
Patric C (de) wrote: Although I usually have a problem with this kind if story telling (largely unrelated multiple narratives), the performances were good and at least some of the stories were entertaining. Also, Christopher Lee. Need I say more?
