Neil P (de) wrote: My problem with these kind of things is that they feel a bit staged. I'm sure there were genuine moments but the editing makes it feel forced. I did like that it was a documentary about the brother's relationship as opposed to a tour-doc. I hope Tom isn't such a slacker as he makes himself out to be. It'll be interesting to see what he's doing in 10 years time.

James O (jp) wrote: Its a prison so its full of riots, stabbings, rape, carnage, terror. Very imaginative. Shame there's no plot eh.

Logan B (gb) wrote: Pretty average, the acting isn't bad but other than that I wasn't too impressed.

Robert R (ag) wrote: Not sure what all the fracas is about. Despite the conventionality of some of the story elements, Miller's frantic, cooky stamp is still undeniably apparent here. "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" is a visually rich, supremely well-designed action movie and a worthy entry into George Miller's legendary franchise. Bonus points go to Tina Turner for turning in a bitchin' handful of original songs for the film, as well as a delightfully over-the-top performance for the movie-goers to have fun with.

Adam C (us) wrote: Nothing short of brilliant. A film that shows the price and side effects of revenge. It also does this with subtle and haunting touches. There were moments here where I was on the edge of my seat and my emotions were flared. It is a film that will hit you in the guts and make a real impact. Chabrol is a master of timing and under stated emotions. Great stuff.

Delwyn J (ag) wrote: Grand Piano features some beautiful sweeping shots and solid acting. The story is completely cliched and the ending totally predictable. Those who are willing to suspend disbelief will undoubtedly be entertained.

Nicola W (fr) wrote: Loved this! set in Swansea in the 1970s a drama teacher tries to get the kids to put on a show. with the rest of the teachers on her back and the kids all having issues, will it go ahead. Great to see half the cast of Stella in it. If you are welsh you will love this movie :)

Lee B (mx) wrote: There is a strange, monotonous tone to this movie. Or maybe it was to the script. Nothing unique or really interesting happens in it. And that may be a testament to good filmmaking that this movie even gets made and is coherent. But this is one of those movies that is so bland and basic that it really doesn't seem like anything really happens in the movie, but it keeps moving,This is the kind of movie that is held together with great visuals or performances, and this movie has neither. What it has is a tepid story at best that is competently put together. I can't even say it was TV movie like, because it wasn't built with arcs. It is just...plainly...a movie. And that may be the worst sin of any movie.
