But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike is murdered and the police aren't doing anything about it.

Ian H (us) wrote: Got this one for Rosie because international animated films are a big hit around our house, and though this one is way too adult (or at least meant for older kids), it has become a big hit. The animation is fantastic, and though the story is a bit ho hum, it's visually compelling throughout.

Michelle D (fr) wrote: most ridiculous concept for the end of the world, "we ran out of gas" pathetic! robert carradine and rider strong suck so bad! no wonder their careers have gone nowhere!

Ben B (gb) wrote: Perhaps a bit long, but as immersive and as poignant as you'd ever need a biopic to be. 'La Vie en Rose' gives you a no frills look at the triumphant and tragic life of Edith Piaf. Marion Cotillard is magnificent as Piaf, getting down every movement, displaying necessary angst, and shows several moments where she truly becomes the Little Sparrow. Just watch old footage and you will see why.

Adam S (mx) wrote: So glad I took a chance on renting it 10 years ago that I now own it. A movie that is somewhat prescient but completely enjoyable, especially if you dig intelligent humor and believable characters.

Gord T (gb) wrote: a pretty cheesey chuck norris movie in all the right ways. chuck is a security head for his adopted father and brothers club and casino. but when chuck turns down a mobsters offer to take partnership in the establishment, his brother and dad (foster) are killed and it is ass kicking time.the action was cool and fun. watching chuck fight a knife wielding guy with a captains hat was cool. fighting that hong kong ogre was awesome, especially when his head nearly came off from some glass. i was really hoping that the old chinese man would die, but you can't have everything. this is a great saturday afternoon movie and just a good dose of chuck.

The main skater "Bobby" was a great influence in my skating coach's methods, technics, and style during his training as a world class roller skater, which indirectly gave me insight into true skating skills. I highly recommen this to any person who loves music while on wheels !

Jose Miguel G (kr) wrote: Frances Dee is a delight, and as a satire of religion and rascism it works pretty fine, but the lack of actual horror and scary moments can be a little bit tedious for the common viewer.

Irene S (ca) wrote: que mierda de film. i couldn't just couldn't wrap myself in this extremely bad made film. the only thing going for it was maybe some of the special effects. but it had a weak plot...very confusing at times...and at the end well that didn't even make sense.
