Serge L (it) wrote: This film works, is funny, is quirky, is believable, and has some uncomfortable moments. It is the story of three mysteries to solve: 1- who is Kevin and why being obsessed. 2- is the wife about to ask for divorce. 3- who is the secret admirer. A cozy feeling transpire even in the worst moments of the film. Definitely intriguing, with gay moments that make me wonder about the ulterior motives of the film. French film feeling also.

Mariam K (nl) wrote: A bit ambiguous, yeah ... but one of the best! Love the intimacy, the music, the HEROS ... the only movie in which i actually liked ash!

Allan C (ag) wrote: Action film with ambitions beyond it's budget. The film wanted to be kind of a sci-fi Bourne Identity, but on a straight-to-video level of budget. Michael Biehn plays a simple watchmaker, but when someone tries to kill him, it triggers a series of repressed memories that hint (SPOILER ALERT) he used to be a trained assassin. Patsy Kensit plays a psychiatrist who helps him uncover those memories while the two are on the run. Tracy Scoggins, Robert Culp, Richard Jordan, Raymond St. Jacques, Billy Blanks, Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini, and Julie Brown in an uncredited role as a waitress, all appear in the film. Overall, this film has a solid cast with two very good leads, some okay action, but is nothing all that special.

Paul D (ca) wrote: Notable for its anti-cold war message which doesn't really reach out the youthful audience this film is aimed at, it is nonetheless a heart-warming adventure story.

Kevin H (ru) wrote: Not the best Planet of the Apes movie from the original series. It does try and give the series an ending.

Stuart B (au) wrote: Interesting that this sequel was made in black and white when the original was in colour. Anyway another one down in the fly collection marathon that I'm having today! You got to love the fight scenes in these old movies.

Grant S (fr) wrote: Ok, ish, but not great. Not very compelling, and drifts in the middle section. The love story is conventional and the ending is fairly trite. However, it does have the Cecil B DeMille trademarks of great cinematography, very realistic settings and props and extravagant and expansive picturescapes. Performances are so-so. John Wayne plays John Wayne (and I'm not a huge fan). I found Ray Milland fairly irritating in Dial M for Murder and here he is a touch more bearable. The female leads - Paulette Goddard and Susan Hayward - are great though.

David L (kr) wrote: On Her Majesty's Secret Service has good action sequences, some quite memorable scenes with a great finale and the scenery is great to look at, but the characters are weakly developed, George Lazenby's performance is mediocre, this new Bond is a weird departure from the formula and the storyline is awfully silly and even preposterous.
