Julio U (br) wrote: Tell someone to watch it, but don't tell them it's a mockumentary. Excellent cast and convincing story...Eugenia had me all the way to the end of the movie.
Zeeshan S (us) wrote: Had soooo much potential, but just didn't live upto it, instead it was just a repertoire of Madhur's own 'Fashion' which was miles better and impressive. Kareena is APPALLING, maybe Aish would have done a good job, apart from Halkat Jawani which is just another catchy item number, there is nothing impressive in it, oh yes Ranvir Shorey and Shahana Goswami's cameo, who are the only ones who know what they are doing in the film !!! Madhur get a grip please!

Price P (kr) wrote: While it's not Raiders, the film is still pretty fun and interesting, it's darker for sure, the second time for Indy and Spielberg really make it feel like an old Bond movie, but with Indiana Jones instead and I'm perfectly fine with that.
Adam M (jp) wrote: lots of yelling and emotional explosions divided by tender moments of contact and stressed-out laughs; kid actors are good; best movie I've seen by Alan Parker, whose lurid fascination with painful episodes is held back by the great Bo Goldman's screenplay

Eve B (gb) wrote: In its rumination on failure, Billy Liar was a resounding success. It is the story of a boy who has chosen to stay spooled in the fetal warmth of sarcasm and fantasy. The tragedy is that in the end he chooses nothing. He'll never hit bottom, he'll never find grace, he has ducked out on life in favor of a prolonged death. The muffled, empty thump of an ending is the greatest, most insightful thing to ever happen in cinema. All dissenters are idiots and they deserve to die. It's clear that my sense of quality is better than yours and your life will be dull, forever and ever. Now, go die with memorable gusto! Make it big and bloody, you hapless pig. Redeem your sorry life with a fascinating corpse.

Dan M (ag) wrote: What a pleasant surprise!! I wasn't expecting much as I had not seen any hype on the movie. Michael Angarano, who also plays Dr. Bertie Chickering on HBO's "The Knick" deserved an Oscar for this performance! He is also award worthy on The Knick, along with Clive Owen - a highly recommended show! Definitely put this one in your list. It works in a lot of ways for a diverse audience.
