Johnathan M (gb) wrote: It's ok but could have been so much more. Richard Gere is excellent and it is a decent enough story. It lacks pace at times and there are moments where there was an opportunity to turn up the tension but it never quite gets there.

Melissa A (es) wrote: I read the book a couple of years ago and was curious to see if the movie was going to be as good. It didn't disappoint and was fun to watch. I just wish they kept Kai as a Hawaiian instead of changing his name to Kyle and having him be originally from the mainland. Anyone who has read the book will understand.

Gregory C (es) wrote: cute, little movie about being a teenager from the director and lead actor of "this is england." not amazing but it definitely has moments. considering the movie is only a little over an hour, those moments are never very far away.

Andrew R (au) wrote: Had me on my feet the whole time

Serge L (fr) wrote: The mob at work. This film is incredibly realistic. We simply follow the mob's work in a city. We learn a lot. I didn't know the mob had welfare. Good luck delivering it though. It's like normal society, except more murderous, more rotten, more back-stabbing, more lying. Same but more worse. Just imagine society run by idiots and psychopaths. That is this film.

Rena T (us) wrote: A sometimes funny and sometimes frank movie about an odd couple. And pregnancy.

John M (de) wrote: I honestly don't know most of Charlie Kaufman's intentions throughout this film, but I really don't care because it's an overwhelming feeling of what it means to create something that has purpose. The film is extremely imperfect but works so well in portraying the fact that art will always be imperfect no matter how long it takes and how detailed it can be. There is nothing like this film. It is very influenced by "8 1/2" perhaps, but really, you will never see anything like this film and Kaufman deserves eternal recognition just by the massive undertaking of approaching this film, let alone how affecting it is.

Jeremy (fr) wrote: A great movie. Some funny parts, some sad parts, although the very end is rather... interesting. I recommend it to you; and it's in German too! :D

Brett H (us) wrote: This twisted movie works very well. Steve Zahn's breakout film.

Tiana A (nl) wrote: this movie is so sad, but so funny

Andrey B (kr) wrote: Teen comedy with morbid sense of humor although very appropriate.

Alex M (jp) wrote: While it does sport an interesting premise, it is certainly one of Allen's low points in his canon of work. That being said, the film still is a quite a fun sit through and does have it's classic Allen one liners from time to time.

Tim M (mx) wrote: Robin Williams provides a phenomenal performance that remains even more unsettling years after his untimely death. What makes "One Hour Photo" so successful isn't the dread it creates, but the sympathy Williams evokes. This is truly his show.

Nilufer R (fr) wrote: I can't believe I've never heard about this movie till last week, I'm thankful to that friend who recommended it, what a beautiful and smart little movie it was. A weak production but a massive idea.
