Kyle S (ca) wrote: I don't usually watch these types of movies, but the song in the trailer hooked me for some reason so I gave it a shot. And it's not terrible. The story is strong enough, and the tease throughout the first 2/3 of the movie why Katie was were she was, starting with her running from someone onto a bus, and then through flashbacks. We see a cop looking for Katie though we aren't sure why. She finds her way to a little town on the water and slowly lets her guard down thanks to Jo and Alex. Of course then the secrets Katie has been running from find her and we head to a satisfying ending with a WTF moment thrown in at the end that I didn't see coming at all and don't mind despite how of the wall it is. overall this movie isn't a bad one for the genre. The dialogue can be weak sometimes, but the decent story, beautiful setting and surprise at the end make up for it.

Jenna G (ag) wrote: I know it didn't get good reviews, but I didn't think it was bad, pretty entertaining flick! Gugino is good, but it needed more Alan Rickman & Emma Thompson! And Til Schweiger was hilarious. Not too shabby.

David D (au) wrote: Only the human-animal is capable of such atrocities that is the genocide in Darfur, but also capable of preventing it as well. The unwillingness to act by those with great ability to do so, is an atrocity by itself. The international community's indifference is shameful.

Brandon M (us) wrote: Micheal looks scarier than ever in this film especially when you compare the mask from the last 4. But the twist from H20 is just an awful idea and the story and acting is just as awful.

Angela H (kr) wrote: Cute, sweet, yet not perfect since Zack and Kelly aren't a couple :) But hey, at least it has Dean Jones of Disney fame :)

Ben D (jp) wrote: This is one of the finest examples of German filmmaking of the 1920s. Every scene is drenched in noirish perfection. From the scenes of the asphalt laying that opens the movie onward show a director at the top of his game. I cannot recommend this enough... a fine movie from cinemas finest decade...

Jamie C (us) wrote: If I'm honest I'm failing to see why it was so popular as it's nothing special or different, Maybe the fact that Eddie Murphy was in and around his peak helped allot, The film itself is very predictable, Not really enough comedy or action, But Eddie Murphy's charm does help allot but apart from that there's nothing memorable apart from the theme tune, But when it's played in every scene it can get annoying.
