Bang-Bang Wedding! torrent reviews

Nolan P (ru) wrote: Imagine taking a 3 week survival trip with a friend and his "survivalist" buddy. That is what one city boy does. Bit talky, BUT the suspense is there. Some good basic survival info that will save your life as well.

Walter M (de) wrote: In "The Reception", Jeanette(Pamela Stewart) and Martin(Wayne Lamont Sims) live on 300 acres in upstate New York but it's not really what you think. Jeanette is a wealthy French emigre while Martin is an artist who paints in the farmhouse and carries out odd tasks on the land. Martin also takes care of Jeanette who is in a fragile state and is pretty much through physically with men. Martin is gay. Their existence is pretty much routine until Jeanette's daughter, Sierra(Margaret Burkwit) shows up with her recently married husband, Andrew(Darren Sills-Evans) in tow for Jeanette's birthday.(Andrew is a law student.) Jeanette and Sierra have not seen each other in about three years and are very much estranged.(Jeanette had Sierra at a very early age and was admittedly not a very good mother.) Needless to say, revelations and complications fly fast and furious. "The Reception" does cover some familiar ground but it is well-acted by a very capable cast, especially Wayne Lamont Sims. And it certainly helps that Stewart and Burkwit do look like they could be mother and daughter.

Aleshia H (es) wrote: Subtle and clever and very, very good. Go see it. Now.

Cody Y (br) wrote: Some stylish directing is unable to elevate the unbearably boring script. I wonder if the original novel was as taxing? Agatha is usually a master so I'll blame the screenwriter this time.

David F (kr) wrote: A stock exploitation plot is enlivened with some inspired if gratuitous ideas in this revenge film about a woman hunting down her father's killers. Includes a scene of a bathing woman who must rise out of her bath and defend herself from a gang of killers with her swordsmanship which deserves the status of a classic sword fight scene in this genre. The rest of the movie involves gambling and sex slavery and it pretty routine for that kind of film.

William G (ru) wrote: Mission Impossible contains a rather boring and not thought provoking story. However, the talent of Tom Cruise as an actor saves this movie to a degree.

Dan H (us) wrote: Can't go wrong with some Doubtfire.

Charlie C (au) wrote: Kinda' depressing. Just a little. But yeah...great movie. Definitely a classic.
