Guimo P (jp) wrote: Tom at the Farm, despite its unsettling tone and dark mystery, is a pleasingly intriguing journey at a farm and on the characters' pathos and struggles. It is haunting, it is stirring, it is moving. With great actors and camera angles, it succeeds in bringing in a different psychological experience.

Neko S (nl) wrote: Damn right awesome... It's an hour long flash movie created by a guy with a lot of free time. There are two shorts that are pretty funny on here too. The story is about and old guy named Fred that is wielding his trusty walker (that he talks to) fighting zombies in search of a new pair of shoes. [very bloody]

Jimmy P (br) wrote: The soundtrack is killer, you feel like you're in the '70s - Parties, sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll galore. The big problem: The Characters. Skip Engblom is probably the most well-written character here, most of the others are complete douchebags including the Z-boys. They took real-life skateboarding legends and just turned them into these unlikable assholes who have little chemistry

Eric M (gb) wrote: Rescue Dawn is a remarkably immersive true story of one man's struggle to survive in the Vietnam War. Herzog directs well, juxtaposing the dread beauty of nature with the brutality of human beings in the true story. Genuine and powerful suspense leads to several emotionally charged and tense moments (this is helped by incredible acting on the part of Bale and the rest of the cast) and even if the last couple of minutes strike a weird and unnaturally upbeat note, Rescue Dawn remains a fine telling of a story of both human cruelty and resilience.

Living off of his parents money, he has no reason to stop. Aaron Paul and Mary Elizabeth Winstead give their all's in their performances here and their chemistry is almost as if they are married in real life. I believed every word they were saying to each other, and with such a short running time, it did not feel like anything had been in there as filler. Extremely well-written, well-directed, and brilliantly acted, "Smashed" is one of my favourite romance films out there. I was sucked in from the beginning and cried when the characters did, and that is when you know you are watching a great film. Terrific!
