Elgan D (gb) wrote: A labour of love from Shane Meadows which really doesn't supply much information as a documentary but does deliver plenty of passion for anyone with even a passing affection for the output of the band

Marischa B (ru) wrote: "A Guy Thing" may not be a classic, but it sure is a good, funny comedy. The plot focuses on Paul (Jason Lee), who wakes up the morning after his bachelor party with no memory and Becky (Julia Stiles) lying naked in his bed. Before he can figure out what happened, he rushes Becky out of his apartment because his fiance Karen (Selma Blair) is coming. After that, as you could imagine, chaos ensues.Almost every single scene in "A Guy Thing" delivers loud laughs. The funniest moments come from when Paul imagines what could happen if he tells Karen. Selma Blair is a truly talented comedian, and the worst thing about this film is that she goes underused. Although, she turns out to be more funny than Stiles' character, who actually isn't that interesting. Of course, not every comedy is perfect. As I said, "A Guy Thing" is no classic, but it's not bad either,

Madeline M (fr) wrote: The satire gets in the way of a lot of conventional narrative elements, but it's still an interesting and well-acted film with some unexpected angles.

Trish H (fr) wrote: A movie that touched home in a very personal way for me. I cried alot during this; sometimes because of the movie, sometimes due to my memories.

Tarl W (ca) wrote: Probably the single documentary made on the subject with half a brain, this film shows the real Charles Manson, inhibited neither by crazed maniacs calling him some sort of god, nor by fools like Geraldo Rivera who brand him before the interview even begins. An insightful and well done look into the life of Manson, with lots of great footage of Spahn Ranch and other areas associated with the trial and the family.

Matt F (kr) wrote: Saw it as a kid.. and Saw it Recently.. I love the comedy in this movie and the FAT BOYS OWN!!! lol I wont tell others 2 see it.. Its just my own lil treasure that i think other wont understand why i like it so much.

Robert R (fr) wrote: Thanks to a solid set of characters, some entertaining action scenes, and enough badass Clint Eastwood one-liners to make your head spin, "Heartbreak Ridge" successfully lifts itself above the conventions of your garden-variety war movie.

The Critic (us) wrote: Dialogue-driven film that, although not as good as others in the franchise, manages to work on some level. It is unfortunately almost entirely without slapstick, and those who like that particular element of the series are bound to be disappointed.

Martin P (mx) wrote: A very interesting little film, full of atmosphere if rather weak on story. Creepy nuns try to bring about the return of a fish demon! Lots of marvellous imagery and gore, and some quite neat performances. It can get a little 18th Angel at times, and it defines slow burn, but those who enjoy euro horror should find lots to enjoy.

Adam P (nl) wrote: Terrible sequel. Only grabs the extra 1/3 star for the strangely high amount of celebritites in this film.

Sean D (au) wrote: There was no point in the beginning plot, it had nothing to do with the rest of the film, besides the connection between the characters. The plot doesn't actually get any good until the last half hour, and by that time, a 90 minute film feels like 3 hours of dragged on content. Wasn't very good at all. Couldn't wait for it to end. The real premise of the full was very good, but it's a shame that it had two plots, one that really had nothing to do with anything.

Raji K (br) wrote: Tom Hanks lives in a small suburb and is on vacation. He wants to take things easy and just keep an eye on the neighborhood. Although this includes just small disputes, nobody seems to know about the new neighbors that just moved in next door. The house makes tons of noise, and there is quite a bit of suspicious activity. When the old neighbor down the street becomes missing, they begin to suspect the new neighbors murdered him and tried to cover it up. The antics begin in this old comedy that is not full of laughs, but is entertaining enough.
