Brevin S (it) wrote: Since this new 52 reboot in DC animation where all the films are based in the new 52 continuity they haven't been as good as they were previously. But as they have continued they really feel like there getting close. From the very start of the film it has this dark and deadly tone to it as we get some really gruesome scenes. Law biding citizens are doing heinous acts and things don't look pleasant.Sadly the film's first halve doesn't live up to the rest. That right the scene that was released on the PlayStation network is probably the darkest scene in the entire film. Everything else is just par for the course and feels like every other Hollywood blockbuster with some over powered villain and some light in the sky.The main antagonist really doesn't do the film any favors. He feels like he was plucked right from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is typical and kinda unneeded and is something we have seen before. There is just nothing new there. The film does succeed tho with the way the characters are developed. Zatana, Constatine, Swamp Thing and Etrigan the Demon are given quite a lot of interesting development and we come to care about all of them. Deadman does also have a good role to play even if his voice doesn't really work for the character. The voice work here overall isn't very strong. Aside from Matt Ryan returning as Constantine there are no notable performances which is kinda sucky. The casting director, Wes Gleason, needs some work. I wish they could get back Merdith Layne who worked on Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox and has Emmy Award on her mantle.I know I sound like I am ragging on the film, but I did like it. I loved Constantine and Zatanna's relationship here. And I actually did feel all the other members got just enough needed screen time. I don't feel Batman was needed, but I didn't mind him when it was in the context of the film.I actually loved the way all the Justice League members were used.So I would consider this a pretty good film. Maybe not worth the extra money on DVD or Blu Ray, but still a pretty nice film if your a fan of DC animation.

But there are very few people who have the courage to dream and follow it, last night we witnessed just that. Bilal Lashari WAAR is not only a great piece of cinema but also a visual and technical treat. From special effects to story telling to direction and background score (music and sound design) everything works like a fine tunes clock. Shamoon Abbasi performance is truly captivating, Hamza Ali Abbasi gave a stunning performance Ali Azmat was memorable with his performance Aisha Khan was bold and gripping and Shaan showed us once again why he is SHAAN. Hasil Kureshi your sound design was the backbone of every scene. DOC you wrote and produced Cinema History and indeed set a new standard for Pakistani cinema. I request everyone to go see the film at least once this EID as it is truly a proud moment for Pakistan and no one deserve more respect and appreciation than the team of WAAR.

Ok, now i know that a film with such a title as perposterous as this was never going to be award winning but i fully admit to taking an interest just to see how bad it was, the answer, one trashy, vulgar, boring, unoriginal and just down right wrong films out there. Dont let the title fool you, this films biggest gun is a tommy gun and the nudity barely worth mentioning, in fact its such a ridiculous title its only creation could have been so that this film was actually watched by someone. And lord have mercy on whoever watches this crud! It is 100% clear from the get go that Mr Guzman is trying to riff on the Rodriguez/Grindhouse re-upbringing here with his visual style trying desperatly to be identical, even the music is a rip off of planet terrors theme song. But why would someone want to rip off a directors low poiint, ill admit planet terror was a fun flick that doesnt take itself seriously but machete? really? This film follows a group of drug lords/bikers/idiots who have a massive chain of clergy dope creation going on. For some reason one of the nuns trys to steal some dope, gets killed, while another is taken hostage and pumped full of heroin. As she nears her end she has a god like vision where she should go on a vengeful rampage and kill EVERYONE related to bikers gangs, drug abusers, strippers, and the clergy. The acting it pitiful, the action is boring, the running time feels about 4 hours longer than it actually is and using a character to rape people as a form of torture while trying to make light of the situation is just wrong. Im actually offended. Ill admit that the only thing this film has going for it is that thankfully its not taking itself seriously but thats barely a positive while watching this. You almost wished it had and seriously not got made. It also closes on an ending that implies a sequal? Really? Are you serious? Who wants a sequal of this nonsense? If your looking for a grindhouse -esque film watch Hobo with a shotgun, stay as far away from this as humanly possible. please, for your own sanity.

So when Chuck baker lands there and thinks he's the first a General and his army are destined to take him out. REVIEW: I liked this movie and thought it was cute for the kids and even found myself laughing a few times. There's alot of great actors casted here which helped I think with a messy plot. The plot is kinda all over the place at times. You also have a hard time getting Into the characters and the story especially because it's been done numerous times. For an adult not much there for enjoyment purposes but I'm sure the kids will love it.
