(I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's Christian Esquivel - he is The Best. Someone make him more famous.) Also, I liked how tender it was? That is a weird way of describing a movie, but it is the closest I can get.

When the local police come knocking, his entire life is turned upside down and he becomes a fugitive on the run. As the police chase him, he runs into more pot smokers, more girls, and plenty of eccentric situations. Will Fritz be able to stay away from the pigs or will his devious ways catch up to him?"I'm a failure as a pot smoker."Ralph Bakshi, director of Cool World, Fire and Ice, The Lord of the Rings, Wizards, Heavy Traffic, American Popper, and Coonskin, delivers Fritz the Cat. The storyline for this picture was a bit frustrating and disappointing. Initially, I liked the premise and the cultural issues for the time were presented well, but the comedic content was not on point like it could have been. "I know what I'm doing.""Like hell you do."I came across this film about a week ago and thought it would be funnier than it was. The animation style was kind of cool as were the supporting characters; however, I didn't find this as entertaining as I hoped. Overall, this isn't a bad movie to catch once but it definitely could have been way better."Would you like to see a picture of my kids?"Grade: C

Carreh R (us) wrote: At some levels this may seem to be a stupid comedy about rednecks but it is anything but. From being hilariously funny to being very heart felt and touching on so many levels it is a gem. The only parts I didn't like were the religious parts but overall the openness about sexuality, accepting people as they are whether they be cross dressers, nymphomaniacs, gay, adulterous or uptight and prudish gave this movie a message we should all take to heart. The part where some of the women have just watched Thelma and Louise and come dressed up in wigs and carrying guns to get revenge on some of the men is pure comic genius.
