Waleed A (gb) wrote: beastly movie with an awesome story and amazing acting by Cage. very funny and very interesting. SPOILERSan in depth look at someone with full blown OCD and what he has to go through. his character's story was very unique and intriguing. it made you feel for him and his relationship with his newly found daughter. this film also has one of my favorite twists. after watching it again I feel like I probably would've figured it out but I watched it for the first time in college and the twist super owned me. One of the biggest name in the 'educational' roadside shows who made and produced films so exploitational that they could only have been made by being sold as films of social indoctrination. This film about an adulteress wife intertwining with archive footage of patients suffering from veneral diseases just shows perfectly the kind of stuff these films were. Excuses to attract crowds to a darker, disgusting, sexual celluloid shows. Sex Madness is quite possibly the worst film ever made, so clich and so nave to be worthy of being forgotten or derided.

James P (es) wrote: A brilliant cast cannot save this overly convoluted and altogether bleak look at the world of New York cops.

Alec B (ca) wrote: The early portions of the film get a little repetitive, but it's still an entertaining and economical thriller. The ending knocks it out of the park.

Lee W (ag) wrote: A very good movie until it got to a point where they didn't know how to end it.

Grant H (ca) wrote: Very good movie. Tonally, the Coen brothers strike gold again with a wacky comedy full of smart humor, clever satire and great music that is led by great performances from its three leads. The only issue is its pacing is a little slow in multiple moments, drawing away from the great story.
