Frank C (br) wrote: I think Torres was trying to make a good flick and as a lover of apoc films, I was trying my best to like it but sorry, it came off just way too hokey. 2 stars for good intentions and that's about it.It was one of those movies that I will probably like even less after sleeping on it.

Michael O (au) wrote: It seems Alan Arkin is the indie coming of age story go to dad, granddad, whatever. Tamara Jenkins is one hell of a screenwriter. She made a movie, the kind we're familiar with in our experiences with movies but she makes it delicious and joyful and new. Even though on a Sundance budget the movie can barely leave the tacky apartments, or much less visit a Beverly Hills school, it's the dialogue and great bits of character charm that convince you of the strange environment of low-rent Beverly Hills citizens. It's weird to say but it's worth watching for the scenes with girls and their dildos; Jenkins turns these sequences into poetry.

Owen B (it) wrote: I can say with certainty that this is almost nothing like its book counterpart. Aside from having the same premise, and the majority of the same characters, there are many differences and a lot are directly related to the main story. Coraline is outstandingly vivid, and one of the best-animated films I've ever seen. Every character is given so much to do, which makes the film's creativity more believable.

Waleed A (jp) wrote: beastly movie with an awesome story and great acting.SPOILERSone of the best and most perfect twists in a movie. and the movie concluded perfectly. best line in the movie is at the end when he realizes he's screwed and finally breaks for the first time... get the fuck out of my house (3 viewings)

Marissa H (au) wrote: HORRIBLE!They should return the money to the people who paid to see this train wreak movie in theaters. I feel robbed!

Rory P (us) wrote: I've seen it. I don't know what to rate it.

Peter P (de) wrote: Mediocre kinda sequel to In The Heat Of The Night. Were in the first movie it worked well because of race issue, this is lacking that all together, and thus is just another run of the mill cop murder mystery movie that happens to have Sidney Poitier in it. Too bad.
