The film follows the tracks of a master fraudster, impersonator and Ponzi schemer who, among other exploits, coached the Hungarian ladies' swimming team to success at international championships without being able to swim himself and, a few years later, claimed to be an archbishop and buyer of antique paintings for the Vatican Museum. In both cases, he made many acquaintances, came across as engaging and helpful but finally vanished with millions in cash. Interviews with people who encountered the man and were duped by him, though despite this and despite losing money, many of them retain a humorous feeling about what happened.

Changing the plans Belinda had to return to Anderson Corner, Belinda adopting a kid, Belinda getting remarried, have the new characters,Still its a good movie with a great story, just understand it has even less elements from the books then the other ones.

(br) wrote: Straight faced satire of slasher films is a lot smarter than the self relative, winking "Scream" films. This film works as both a clever satire, with a pretty funny premiss that turns a major slasher film trope on it's head, and also as a straight slasher. Taken just as a slasher film, it's good, but not up to say "Halloween" or "Deep Red" or even the gleefully over-the-top "Hatchet" franchise. It's unfortunately undone somewhat by a surprisingly conventional climax.

(nl) wrote: Another brilliant satirical comedy from director Ernst Lubitsch. The great Jack Benny and wife Carole Lombard are part of an acting troupe in Poland during that Nazi occupation that become involved in a a British plan to uncover a spy. While that sounds like a fairly serious plot, it's a very funny story that involves Benny and the troupe posing as Nazi's to out the spy. It's funny, suspenseful and utterly charming. The film was a failure upon it's initial release, being filmed before Pearl Harbor and released soon after. Carole Lombard also tragically died in a plane crash just before the films release, hurting it's box office appeal at the time. Since then, the film's reputation and acclaim has deservedly grown.
