Un rescatable intento de hacer cine nacional sin caer en los mismo argumentos de siempre, con efectos especiales y una musica ad hock.

His essay on this one augments a lot of cool features of the flick: the grossouts, all the pieces that compose the sublime creepy atmosphere, the mobile camerawork, Bava's unrealized promise (blown by his silly use of colour), and Barbara Steele's dominance.

Nathan M (gb) wrote: Directors Megan Griffiths and Tania Kupczak do a great job of bringing life and charm to the story of a character coming to terms with her past. Watching Toni Collette's character try and find her ex-boyfriend, who was previously thought dead, is something that could have been solely about the journey. Instead, Collette and the directors do a great job about making this about the character. We care about Ellie and what happens to her, and the person she becomes. With some great supporting performances to keep the story feeling fresh, Lucky Them is a pretty decent film about characters trying to grow up and move on from their past.

Thinking It should have been named The Cross Something, like the upcoming The Janson Directive starring The Rock. I have to say its just mad decent.
