(kr) wrote: Next to Python, this is the worst movie I have ever seen. At least that I remember. I didn't laugh one time during the film, and if I wasn't reviewing it, \i would have shut it down after 15 minutes. The writer/director should be ashamed of himself for allowing such a horrible movie to exist. I haven't seen any of his other work, but if it's anything like this, I never want to. This was a feeble attempt at parody and referencing pop culture, and I feel bad for having watched it.

(ag) wrote: I saw this movie when it came out in 1999, I was in 9th grade. I loved the movie then, and I love it now. My best friend and I have watched DDG so many times I have lost track. We still quote lines from the movie on a regular basis in our daily lives. I watched it again the other night, and I laughed just as much as I did 14 years ago. The witty humor, the mockumentary style of film, and the acting performances by Kirsten Dunst, Denise Richards, Kirstie Alley, Allison Janney, Ellen Barkin, and Amy Adams make the film a classic. I always feel like Drop Dead Gorgeous doesn't get the credit and praise it deserves. But this will always be one of my favorite movies ever.
(kr) wrote: Mark Dacascos & Kadeem Hardison are two of the most under appreciated actors. Drive was a fun b-action film with good humour and unbelievable fighting sequences.

This was (I'm pretty sure) the only time I've seen Mark Duplass in a movie, and he was a great actor also. I am glad that I watched it. The ending is kind of a Doctor Who-ish ending (which is a major plus to me.) I'm very impressed at this movie.
