Eric H (es) wrote: I'am a person who strongly dislikes remakes and does not think that they are necessary at all. This is a remake that probably didn't have to be made because it falls flat soon and not even the talent of Richard Linklater, or Billy Bob Thornton can bring it back to life. A big disappointment from both these talents.

Daniel V (us) wrote: Brian DePalma had an ambitious idea and he kinda of pulled it off. Only by revealing the bad guy halfway through, the mystery is gone and my mind began to wander. I still paid attention in chunks but his telling a story from 3 different points of view never really coalesce into a coherent enough ending. There's something about weapons or a peace treaty or a senator or some such blah blah. See what I mean? However, Nicholas Cage is excellent. And not his crazy, off the wall, terrible actor excellent, he's actually excellent in this movie. One of his best characters.

Matt M (ca) wrote: A fiery and independent female factory owner is accidentally stranded on a deserted island with a virile yacht hand. Under the circumstances, she succumbs to his masculinity and falls in love. Disregard the Madonna remake; the orinigal Wertmuller work is a gem of satire on the times and society, as well as a witty comment on the nature of the battle of the sexes. In fact, its cleverness also makes it work as a surrogate and explicit metaphor of relationships in general. Giannini and Melato share a great chemistry, even in the passionate scenes of love, and the screenplay is very intelligently funny, making the most out of a seemingly restrictive situation.
Jeff H (it) wrote: Mary Tyler Moor and Julie Andrews are adorable in this 1920's parody. The script is tongue-in-cheek funny and the 2 songs that are actually in this movie are actually nice. Andrews is at her usual sophistication and CAROL CHANNING is a riot, whether unintentional or not. RASPBERRIES! B

"I Love You", "Visions Stains" o "The Accident" son una prueba de ello. Lstima

Robert C (ru) wrote: The movie has nice heart, and could be one of Tim Allen's best (not saying much). But it doesn't quite go where I want it to go, and I think they missed some opportunities, especially with the father/daughter aspect, which is set up early on and then disappears after about 20 minutes.
