Arseniy V (ru) wrote: A good film that rings a touch flat. The weakness is too subtle for me to identify clearly. It could be that the film gets caught up a tad in the "what-happens-next" trap or that the characters are a bit underdeveloped or that there is a slight lack of a coherent thesis (aside from the standard (and no less true for it) drugs-fck-things-up bit). Whatever the issue may be, the film's good qualities outweigh it.

Eytan D (ag) wrote: Coming from Kevin Williamson, the writer of "Scream," you'd expect "I Know What You Did Last Summer" to be a bit more clever. In that department, it partially fails. Also, it is only loosely based on the book by Lois Duncan. It veers a bit into standard slasher territory, but the film is still pretty entertaining and has a likeable, sympathetic cast of teens lined up for the slaughterhouse.

Gene Kelly had incredible dance routines through out the picture and Debbie Reynolds was of course amazing even though it was her first time dancing. Overall fantastic film and must see for all classic movie buffs!
