Steve S (gb) wrote: Not a great film as many would have you believe. But, it is entertaining. So glad that Eddie Murphy lost the Oscar for his performance. He did not deserve it, especially since his dramatic moments are down offscreen.
Lee M (ru) wrote: While the opera The Death of Klinghoffer seems like a dubious enough proposition to begin with, turning that opera into a movie was just an all around bad idea.
Guido S (it) wrote: Dennis Quaid is hot on the trail of a serial killer, he has a personal vendetta against him since he kidnapped his son. Eventually, we meet Danny Glover in his ride with Playboy spreads plastered all over the interior and Jared Leto as a hitchhiker and the two become friends. Eventually you learn Glover is the killer, but he just isn't a good villain, he's too friendly, he's like the most friendly person in the world. I just can't get into it. Doesn't help that the story moves very slow and really isn't that interesting. Not much I can think of to improve this one, it was just a mess for me.

Matt H (it) wrote: Just fell flat for me. Never cared about Tita and Pedro as a potential couple, or pretty much anyone else. Felt a little sorry for Tita, but that was about the biggest feeling I had about this one.

Marya M (ru) wrote: Amazing story. Although it says it's based on a true story, from what I've read it may actually be based on several different stories. Either way, it is an amazing movie for anyone who is devoted to the earth and sees the wrongs of civilization.
Walter M (nl) wrote: "Hell Drivers" is a gripping, yet mildly predictable, road movie wherein the highway is a ten mile stretch of country roads where a group of truckers haul ballast from a mine to the main plant, led by Red(Patrick McGoohan) who is out to prove he is number one. After the death of one of the drivers, Tom(Stanley Baker) shows up looking for work and gets it on the basis of a nerve-wracking audition. As Cartley(William Hartnell), the manager, explains, all the drivers must complete at least twelve runs a day or they are fired, paving the way for the men to prove their masculinity by driving excessive speeds. As competitive as the drivers are, Tom manages to make one true friend, Gino(Herbert Lom), an Italian expatriate who has been in England since World War II and is still homesick.

John M (de) wrote: Definitely funnier than I thought but still formulaic and feels too much like all the other films in this genre. It's definitely a good showcase for talent for Rebel Wilson though and the music's pretty good.
Brandon S (kr) wrote: Its an interesting premise, but it ultimately just ends in an unsure wave of gratuitous sexuality, and unconvincing performances. I love Jessica Chastain, and while I think she's very beautiful, the level of sexual content reaches almost exploitative. Its just not nearly as profound as it thinks it is.
