Ian L (au) wrote: This is easily the best DC superhero animated film I have ever seen. This is what happens when animation is driven by strong writing. I would also say it is one of the best Lovecraft theamed films too. Good voice acting helps too. Some may find the 60s comicbook animation look a bit off putting, but I thought it helped with the 50s alternate universe vibe of it. It is an adult animation, not because of gruesome violence or explicit sex(there is none), but because of having some real adult theams.

C J (es) wrote: I'm a huge fan of the Anne of Green Gables series, including the books. However, this "continuing story" feels forced. It's dark and depressing and a complete distraction from all the things I've learned to love about Anne. During the entire movie, I missed Annie's whimsy, I missed her spirit and her lust for life. Too much of the movie felt hopeless and when hope eventually returned, I was disinterested and disconnected. I'm glad I saw it, so I can cross if off my list, but I cannot recommend it to anyone else. Instead, pick up the first two parts of this series. Learn to love Anne's heart. THAT, I insist upon.

Luc P (fr) wrote: Completely boring. The villain death is one of the dumbest I've ever seen. However, a somewhat intriguing story.
Matt R (br) wrote: Completely kills the momentum its predecessor got going, instead doling boring plot lines and unsuspenseful slow-mo action.
Adam R (ca) wrote: A unique Western of sorts with fine acting from Johnny Depp. I actually liked the style at first, but things got stranger and creepy as it progressed. It was just too out there and didn't speak to me. (First and only viewing - 11/20/2016)
