Bhagam Bhag

Champak Chaturvedi runs a theatrical troupe in India. He hires two men, Bunty - a graduate in Arts, and Babla- who cannot read nor write English. One has to play the role of the play's hero, while one the villain. Both men end up squabbling with each other, as both want the hero's part. Then Champak finds out that Bunty has molested the play's heroine, Anjali, and punishes him. The group gets a contract to stage 30 plays in Britain, however, on the day of the departure, Anjali opts out, leaving Champak no alternative but to travel without a heroine, but hoping to recruit one while in Britain. Upon arrival, Babla sets about to find a suitable heroine from the Indian population, but Bunty beats him to it and recruits a woman named Munni.

Rebecca S (ag) wrote: Definitely has some unexpected twists, but is strange overall.

Madmanof01 (jp) wrote: Funny but very dumb. A good time if you just want some raunchy humor. Other than that, very bad in almost every aspect.

Scott R (mx) wrote: Saw it last evening - it was realy good !!

Steve D (ag) wrote: Good prequel that makes up for the horrible sequels. A little to gory though

stefn birgir s (fr) wrote: A thin plot, dragged into 90 minutes of badness.

MF J (ru) wrote: Wong Kar Wai takes us into his universe for a slice of Hong Kong cinema unlike anything you have ever seen before. Divided into two stories the film is a visual wonder, filled with dazzling camera work, non conventional storyline and populated by mysterious characters. This is not your typical Saturday night flick but if you are willing to watch something unusual and really well done, this one is for you.

Augustine H (us) wrote: Here we witness how obsession and jealousy could destroy a prominent figure again. Isabelle Adjani gives an iconic performance in which she exhibits sorrow, grievances, madness and helplessness marvellously.

Lisa S (ru) wrote: Paul needs to stick to songwriting, and never even think about screenwriting again! If he wanted to make a film of his band Wings with Ringo and Linda and everyone, just make a band video, he didn't need to add some silly storyline to make it seem like a real movie. The movie is mostly songs anyway, but once in a while there's some stupid little scene about this guy stealing the band's tapes or something. I didn't even understand what was going on until I read the film description on the back of the tape.

Joe H (it) wrote: This is the most depressing movieI have ever seen

Bradley K (it) wrote: An exceptional boxing drama with very humanistic character treatment and rich cinematography. All three lending performances are great and are accent nicely rich supporting performances.

Luciano G (ag) wrote: "Bad Milo!" is well worth watching a single time for its absurdity and oddity...

Robert S (br) wrote: I normally shy away from movies noted as "dark comedies" for the fact that it seems there are very few writers who understand what that actually means: eg August: Osage County...The Dressmaker however fits nicely within the "dark comedy" genre providing a nice mix of drama and comedy - just when you think it's getting too dark, there is something to lighten the mood a bit. While I do agree this film has a bit of overkill in the bad luck that befalls Tilly Dunnage, it is done to illustrate the point of Tilly's curse - which could have been it a bit more throughout - by the time the main point about it was made, I forgot about it from the beginning.Overall, I think this is one of the best movies I saw in 2016 and is a MUST SEE for anyone who loves Prescilla Queen of the Desert or To Wong Fu.
