gustavmarkovic31 (fr) wrote: this is a must-see of jet li's, it is a masterpiece of a movie, although it is let down a bit by the predictability and a-bit-too-coincidental scenes, where the movie would not have worked if Jet Li's character's girl friend's friend didnt kill this one guy who was the brother of man who is connected to jet li's brother or something completely unbelievably confunding like that, but still, overlooking that long and confusing explanation, this movie is awseome to behold.
Frances H (br) wrote: Great interweaving of multiple character stories around the passing of a twenty dollar bill from hand to hand. Linda Hunt and an all-star cast make this film a delight. The song at the end says it all.
Zach O (gb) wrote: A return to form, of sorts. The Revenge of the Pink Panther is more balanced than the previous entry (...Strikes Again). Sellers is great as usual, and the character of Kato gets a lot more screen time (a good thing, in my mind). By this point the series was getting a little tired-- but this is still a remarkable film. Maybe the third best of the series?
Tim M (de) wrote: There are a lot of reasons to like 'Caddyshack'. It's a good time. It has a lot of laughs. The writing raises the tide so the acting appears better. We have two of the best comedic actors of the time in Chevy Chase and Bill Murray. The underrated Ted Knight and the over the top Rodney Dangerfield complement the ensemble. Like most Harold Ramis films it doesn't take itself very seriously. It's not uptight and you shouldn't be when you watch it. Final Score 9.1/10
