Hunter S (fr) wrote: Some funny jokes It's decent

Ben R (gb) wrote: i literally cried during this movie. it sucked so bad my best friend had to use the bathroom every 3 minutes during this movie.

David L (au) wrote: Arthur Christmas is such a good movie. Its stupidly frenetic pacing and too much action really hurt the movie, but it is still such a great mix of traditional and modern with impressively well developed characters, some sophisticated themes here and there, superb character interactions, a great story, a positively childlike tone to it and many heartwarming moments. It isn't one of Aardman's best, but it is one of the finest animated films of 2011.

Dina K (ca) wrote: Moves a bit slowly, but for fans is worth it. Beautifully shot too. Scotland is a main character in this show.

Narae P (mx) wrote: Entertaining at times, but overall pretty average.

Mary B (mx) wrote: I actually liked this movie. I think the reason why I saw it was because of David Gallagher.

Michael R (br) wrote: Taking us back to the days where having a reputation is everything, this intriguing tale of young lesbian love is hard to turn away from since many parts of the film reminds us of the high school days and what it took to fit in and become accepted. Though the film revolves around two protagonists, Elin and Agnes, other characters are just as likable and relatable through the well-written script. Conversations so casual and real to what a teenager these days would be talking about brings us a little bit more closely like friends.'Show me love' is one of those films where you don't need a highly produced set to make a great movie as long as you have a good story and the ability to feel alongside character's emotions. This is a rare teen movie; it doesn't have the irresistible boyfriend or the corny fairy tale ending, but instead shows us an alternate reality where characters such as the indecisive Johan have a chance with a desirable girl like Elin.Overall 'Show me love' is a great film about self-discovery that touches on important factors on adolescence. Occasionally you'll find something as good as this that will make you want more from their relationship as they finish off with an innocent story that'll just leave you smiling.

Deke P (kr) wrote: Finally saw on TV 4-2017. Interesting. Maybe a little slow by today's more action packed standards. Interesting ending. Xlnt cast. Branagh with an American accent, unusual. And I've always loved Emma Thompson, whe looks like an long ago girlfriend of mine. And Derek Jacobi (who starred as I Claudius on PBS)

Mark M (br) wrote: underrated De Niro flick.

Dax S (ag) wrote: Not as good as the first one, but still passable.

Don S (ag) wrote: Views like a TV movie, with similar production values. This movie had the opportunity to vigorously explore some wide ranging topics like alien technology and physiology as well as our cultural readiness to encounter alien beings. Instead we get "we have met the alien, and he is us" and anti-US government propaganda. Not my cup of tea.

Aj V (mx) wrote: A pretty funny comedy, but very predictable.

Ranny L (ca) wrote: This is a very inspirational and meaningful film and one I(TM)m sure you will enjoy.I really like this film because of how Amy cares for the abandon little Geese eggs and how everyone wants to have a part of their life. Also, I like seeing the connection grows between Amy and her father; something that wasn(TM)t there before with them living thousands of miles apart. The sound track fits in perfectly with the film and is good to listen to. There are a lot of beautiful aerial shots which are breathtaking and lovely to watch. My favorite part in this film is when the geese are in the field with Amy and she is running and they are running right behind her " this is too cute! I love the plot; I could actually see this happening!Fly Away Home (1996) is about a girl, Amy Alden (Anna Paquin), who losses her mother in a car crash and has to live with her father, Tomas Tom? Alden (Jeff Daniels), in Canada. Amy discovers 16 little Geese eggs after major destruction to the forest and takes them in as their own mother " Mama Goose.? They grow fast and they will have to migrate soon. Amy and her father try to help these motherless geese go south.Carroll Ballard (Wind, Duma) directs this inspirational film. Fly Away Home is based on the book Father Goose? By Bill Lishman. This film also stars Danna Delany (Susan Barnes), a friend of Amy(TM)s father, Tom.A couple of great messages in this film are when someone suffers a great loss, you can still find some joy/hope in due time and that if you care about something or someone so strong, you should do everything in your power to take care of it. I recommend this film for ages 8 to 14 and it(TM)s absolutely a great family film. I think even adults alone will truly like this film. Ok, all the bird lovers, come and fly away with this one " you will love it. I give this film 4 out of 5 stars because it has kind of a slow start but a very strong finish and left me with wanting to see more. Fly Away Home is a good film; it(TM)s actually based off of true events and will be playing all month on HDnet Movies Kid Scene so please go and check it out! This is Brianna reporting for KIDS FIRST!!!
