Juan R (ag) wrote: A tender lyrical poem about a man who looks back at Liverpool's past, Terence recounts a certain distaste for his heritage, yet never denies his love for it. As if he's lost a sense of place, his words capture a fleeting glimpse of his youthful days as the stock footage permanently stamps his thoughts. Even if "Of Time..." is deeply indulgent, Terence sneakily shines the spotlight on us. He's not interested in how we react to his story; in fact, he's interested in how we relate to our own past and present.

Russell H (br) wrote: some good action but mainly boring. Jennifer Garner annoys me for some reason.

Jamie C (ag) wrote: Well acted from Eminem, A really good gripping film that even people who don't like him would enjoy, Easily the best film by a rapper as the lead role.

Boris M (us) wrote: Based on true events. Love the title track "Glory bound".

Carla Rene M (au) wrote: I'm a huge fan of cheesy 50's and 60's sci-fi, but this one didn't quite do it for me in comparison to others. Lots of moments with nothing really happening, uninteresting characters, and an awkward ending. The ship and the look of the alien were boring, which was a let down...set & costume are usually my favorite things about vintage sci-fi.

Adam R (gb) wrote: Totally creeped me out. I don't understand why it had to be so perverted. I think they took it too far. (First and only full viewing - November 2009)

Eric M (gb) wrote: Though the biting satirical edge wears off after the first half hour, Chaplin's film is a masterwork of slapstick comedy that contains a surprising amount of heart amidst the scathing indictment of the Machine/Assembly line Age.

Brian W (ca) wrote: Pretty good action flick and Liam plays the role realy well. Worth a watch.

Jacob B (ca) wrote: It isn't quite as imaginative as Coraline or as smartly written as ParaNorman but the decidedly more lighthearted The Boxtrolls still boasts enough laughs, dazzling visuals and charm to remain a reasonably entertaining diversion from the American stop-motion animation studio Laika.

Z L (nl) wrote: What? Why did critics and audiences dislike this fantastic film?! OK, that's your opinion but I love it. Gerard Depardieu is a great actor, the visuals are amazing! The soundtrack by Vangelis is unforgettable. It's a profound inspiring film about one of the greatest and most controversial personalities of History.
