Jeremy G (ru) wrote: Good foreign film showing how communication and compromise can solve conflicts more than war. Takes place in the 1980s and the plot centers on an Israeli soldier and a Palestinian boy as the soldier tries to find his way out of enemy territory and the boy tries to get past the Israeli border to see his family's former home. Stephen Dorff and his counterpart deliver a believable story of the power of friendship and how it can overcome the biggest obstacles.

Jess M (us) wrote: Pretentious. You'd think for a movie about a "genius", there wouldn't be so many huge plotholes. The characters are tired and boring. The entire last 1/3 of the movie could be cut outright without losing anything.

Laura M (us) wrote: Interesting to watch the 2 actors falling in love, knowing that they're now married with children...but the movie itself had to have been written by someone who was tripping HARD on acid! Prepare for a twisted ride...

Alexander C (br) wrote: She is hot in this !!!!!Call it Buffy the Culinary Slayer. Sarah Michelle Gellar, who usually runs around staking vampires and fighting demons, turns cute and cuddly as an aspiring chef in this magical-realist comedy.
