King L (fr) wrote: I'm a big fan of Bug Bunny and Daffy Duck and I enjoyed watching this but it lacks the subtle humor of the old cartoons. The plot is simple and the humor is silly slapstick and probably dumbed down for children but it was nice to see all the old characters that I enjoyed as a kid. I preferred the Warner Brothers cartoons over those of Walt Disney. The movie was very nostalgic in that it included a lot of references to old movies. I especially liked the part when they're in the secret lab in Area 52 where they had aliens from old 1950s sci-fi, Daleks from Dr. Who and Robbie the Robot of Forbidden Planet fame. I also like the scene where Bug and Daffy are being chased by Elmer Fudd in the Louvre. The characters would run into the paintings and they would morph into the style of that painting. For example, if it was a Salvador Dali painting they would become surreal. Not a great movie but fun. It's certainly better than the one with Michael Jordan.

Sumit M (ca) wrote: Saw a rerun of this today, and whoa did it remind me of its class. Superb superb intense acting from Bajpai and Shukla and others, really great cinematography, and a tight gripping story line makes this the perfect package, but RGV transcends from good to great with his unbelievably realistic look and his clashing motifs of suffering and love. One of the best movies to ever come out of India.

With the great Eric Idle as "Paul McCartney", he produces one of my favorite music scenes ever. The composition of a "McCartney hit". (sings) "I love youuuu... (pause) Tuh, tuh, tuh, tuuuuuuh... Tuh, tuh, tuh, tuuuuuuh..."

Adrian B (us) wrote: Peculiar, mainly unknown drama about a trumpet player (Kirk Douglas) who plays with a band to whom he does not like his boss and finds interest in an attractive singer (Doris Day). He quits his band, taking the piano player (Hoagy Carmichel) along with him so that he can concentrate more heavily on his music and his woman. They begin to fall in love, only to be interrupted by a friend of Day's character, a mysterious, sexy doctor (Lauren Bacall), to whom he eventually weds. Strange, compelling drama that is quite odd, but succeeds thanks to the big band music and good performances by Bacall and Douglas. It is notable film, because of what happens in the second half with Bacall, where it is implied she is a lesbian. Certain terms to describe Bacall's lesbianism that Douglas uses, such carnival side show, are definitely not used today. Fairly underrated movie with an odd outcome.

David L (es) wrote: Snatch tells many intertwining stories at one time. The various stories are about jewel thieves, boxing promoters, gangsters, bookies, and other colorful characters in London.Surprisingly, there are many big stars and future big stars in Snatch. The type of stars that normally carry a movie by their self. To name a few - Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, Vinnie Jones, Dennis Farina, Benicio Del Toro, and others. Each of these stars is given a very colorful character to play, which they do perfectly. Snatch has great storylines, great one-liners, action, laughs, and everything you can ask for in a movie.
