(es) wrote: a typical happy ending story.
(au) wrote: I also liked this movie for the different point of view and knowledge about God's and Jesus's origin that is rarely talked about or accepted. Let's not forget the Egyptians and all the cultures well before "Jesus's" time. Sorry people, Its hard to ignore the facts. The universe has been around for a very long time. However, I could have done without all the acts of war imagery. I realize it was used to make a point. I know we live in a very corrupt world, but reminders are depressing. Just get to the commentary.

(ru) wrote: The talent of the cast and premise sure are appealing at first. However, such promises never fully develop or mature as the film proceeds. As it continues to borrow elements from classics like Meet the Parents and There's Something about Mary, the essence of this rom-com, like Chris Brander, lacks the confident to take the next step and achieve its true potential.
(jp) wrote: What a bizarre little mess of a disjointed movie. Rebellious teen is rebellious because parental suckage means it's okay to break laws and be destructive and whatnot. So as a result we should dislike people she's fucked over. We should also be happy when bitchy girl finds love cause her parents suck too. Absolutely everyone was completely unlikeable. Then the movie took some weird bizarre twist in tone, but I guess we're supposed to be stoked about finding ways to use non-conformity productively? The soundtrack was enjoyable, and the leotards were cute. I do like Jeff Bridges, and Vanessa Lengies didn't drive me to the death wishes I have for her on Glee (she was the one I had decided I was okay with dying in a school shooting, and would've probably paid the writers to make it happen). I feel rather like I just wasted the past 2 hours of my life.
(mx) wrote: Its questionable wherever I should like this film or not. It contains an intressting premise, some good tension/build-up stuff, and some mediocre acting, storytelling, directing and a me-he score to be rather misspread throughout.
(mx) wrote: The racoon is suppose to be this boys pet but with a racoon things get ugly. Its a movie where you can't wait to see what happens next and what trouble that racoon causes.

(it) wrote: Very slow to get going. It at first feels like a retread of the same stuff for a little while. The opening is really cheesy, with footage played backwards from the first movie and a Batman TV show-like voice over recounting all the events of the first movie and where we are now. The kills are less memorable, and there isn't really a clear motive other than "fuck you, that's my eternal life water." The last half hour gets much better with the Saw-like elaborate traps that made the first movie so interesting. The ending is very abrupt, especially since you watch the entire movie wondering about this river, only to never actually see it. Vincent Price singing somewhere over the rainbow was classic though.
(mx) wrote: I could not even make it 15 minutes into this before turning it off. I could not handle the horrible and almost incoherent accents of everyone. This might be a great movie...but I will never know because I just don't care.

(gb) wrote: Excellent story wanting to inform us about some events related to the mortgage crash. We follow first the guy that saw the mortgage bubble was due for a correction, then a couple of guys and we learn along the way how the banks were feeding the bubble to artificially keep it growing until it had to pop. The snag with the system was that it was not motivated to correct itself because everyone was gaining as long as the bubble grew, except for the few people that saw it and wanted to cash in the crash to come, that came so late the government of the people had to reinflate the banks with solid value. The size of the bubble was 20 times the value of the houses under mortgages! Only the englishes could keep such lies fly for so long. The film is a real thriller eventhough I had read quite a bit on the subject.
