Miguel R (it) wrote: While it slowly unfolds, Volver is an intriguing and thought provoking drama from Pedro Almodvar

Carlee S (us) wrote: It was okay. Not something that I would like to watch all the time though.

Andrew L (ru) wrote: A standard action film with a good cast. There are some good moments with good stunts, but it's like watching another John Capenter's Escape From New York, expect it's on an island. If you go back to the credits at the beginning with Cameron, Rawlings, Meheux and Campbell actually are actually Bond verterans.

Kristy P (it) wrote: Definitely interesting!!! It isn't what I'd call a GOOD movie, but it keeps you on edge throughout. I've never liked Rob Lowe, he always just looks like a psycho to me...and this movie is proof that I was right! He's insane in this role. James Spader's cool as usual.

John W (ca) wrote: Starring Anthony Quinn, Alan Bates, Irene Papas, Lila Kedrova. Anthony Quinn, in his best film role, is irresistible as the life-loving title character. He joins British-born writer Alan Bates as he travels from the Greek mainland to the island of Crete, with a notion to open a mine. Along the way, Bates gets involved with a widow whose life meets a tragic end when she is accused of adultery. Equal parts life-affirming and life-questioning, this film only loses points for its stubborn lack of a sympathetic character. Directed by Michael Cacoyannis.

Luke B (ca) wrote: Tries hard to make for a more realistic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde but lands in the dull section. Scott isn't perfect but his performance(s) are the best part of the film. He seems to be enjoying himself and it adds to the audience's enjoyment. Hyde isn't exactly scary, more like a mix between The Joker and Jack Sparrow. He also isn't monstrous, which disappointed me. The ending was obvious, but I can't help but feel this was all done a lot better in Primal Fear.

Mathew N (es) wrote: A look into the lives of these present day monsters. I think the movie is tipped in Kai Green's favor. Either way I'm a fan of his after watching.

Teagan R (mx) wrote: The story was good, but it pretty basic and was very similar to the Scream movies. Good acting, but crappy originality. However, I was still interested from the beginning and couldn't stop watching.

Bill B (ag) wrote: Okay, so I was pretty predisposed to liking this one, but its downfall for me was the format in which it is presented. The found footage aspect is creepy when you are seeing the unsettling things these people are looking at as they travel from place to place seeking out these haunted house attractions. When it's annoying as hell is when they spend any downtime rambling to one another and generally making you wish that they would die sooner, because you're tired of their fucking voices.I would honestly say that it's got some creepy moments, but they're ruined by the yammering of the leads, all of whom are immensely annoying.
