(au) wrote: this documentary has a lack of focus and is all over the place. The film starts off strong in a format of interview to research process. Later the film turns a strange corner that leaves the audience wondering what the hell happened? The film makers lost objective and delivered an amateur film thats subject matter deserved a higher class of filmmakers. Leaves me wondering what could have been and loathing what is!

After an unfortunate accident, he is selected to become a cyborg of sorts that will allow him to accomplish his lifelong goal. He partners with a new friend, Brenda, to help master his new powers while on his first mission to bring down the diabolical Mr. Claw."We're being chased by the hatchback squad!"David Kellog, director of Cool as Ice, Lusty Liasons II, and numerous music videos, delivers Inspector Gadget. The storyline for this picture is fairly mediocre and just okay. I would also say the special effects, characters, and overall premise are average as well. The acting is as you'd expect for a children's film and the cast includes Matthew Broderick, Joely Fisher, Rupert Everett, Andy Dick, Mr. T, Richard Kiel, and Cheri Otery. "I'm the inspector and you're the car!"I came across this on HBOGO and thought it would be a fun film to watch with my daughter. She watched it pretty much from beginning to end and found it entertaining. This isn't a special movie by any means and definitely a surprise Disney marketed this film. Overall, this is a below average addition to the genre that you can skip."This is not going to end well."Grade: C-

They inform the scientist that they plan to infiltrate the dead, bring them back as zombies, and have them devour everyone on Earth. The scientist has 24-hours to convince people with influence that the threat is true and they need to act to stop them. "We have never bothered Earth because of its slow scientific development."Edward Cahn, director of It!, The Terror from beyond Space, Invasion of the Saucer Men, Annie was a Wonder, Gun Fight, and The Music Box Kid, delivers Invisible Invaders. The storyline for this picture was just okay with some cool zombie aspects. The makeup and costumes I felt were pretty well done. The cast delivers clich performances and include John Carradine, John Agar, Jean Byron, and Paul Langton."The dead will kill the living and the people of Earth will cease to exist."I randomly DVR'd this picture since it was recommend to me off Fios. I enjoyed this for the most part. I won't say this is special, but I do always enjoy the zombie pictures from this era (the classic slow walking kind). The movie is just okay but a fun viewing if you're a fan of the genre during this era."My attitude now is more of a hindrance than help."Grade: C
(fr) wrote: This is a great film noir thriller that deals with very current issues of how an epidemic disease could easily spread throughout a city. Richard Widmark delivers a great performance along with the rest of the cast.
(ca) wrote: This film comes straight from the 80's action mould. And not the good mould that Top Gun came out of.The loner with no memory but super ninjistu skills and his army buddies face off against generic European bad guys and Black Star Ninjas. The good guys win, the girl falls for the guy and everybody lives happily ever after except the non American ninjas and the Sensei of the good ninja. The fact this spawned four sequels must have been part of some tax dodge by the producers. If you are looking for an action film from 1985, give Rambo First Blood Part 2 a look before you watch this.Featured on Episode 55 of The Emerald Reprobates Podcast
