But when I recently watched it again after all these years, I realized that the movie was not as magnificent as I deemed it to be. However, like all movies, does not go without its moments. On the upside, it does create an enormous amount of belly laughs.
Carl W (ag) wrote: Cracking cinematography, good editing, very "sixties", very dated. Not wild about the typical sixties "liberated" "she'll enjoy the sexual awakening" school of rape fantasy, wasn't very convinced by the cod philosophy excuses for loads of bare flesh. I have nothing against eroticism, or even basic prurience, but I'm unimpressed with sixties values, I think. Worth watching for the flavour of the decade, and pretty. Not a film to be taken terribly seriously.

Ulla D (kr) wrote: I loved it! I loved how there was a good mix of mystery and suspense. This was the first Jesse Eisenburg movie I saw and I'm anxious to see how he'll do in future roles. I'm also not a big Woody Harrolson fan, but I thought he did really well and was one of my favorite characters. I can't wait to show the rest of this movie to my mom!
