Michael H (es) wrote: Loved the first two, but this one was a bit of a mess and I didn't really enjoy it. Disappointing.

Michael G (nl) wrote: A wonderful, touching, informative, well-done and heartbreaking documentary of the greatest comedic talent of all time. Great interviews with Chaplin's children, Martin Scorsese, Johnny Depp and Robert Downey jr, not to mention numerous film critics and Chaplin biographers. This documentary also features many many great clips of his work. This is definitely a great watch but it also makes me feel like an idiot for not seeing more than half a dozen of Chaplin's films.
Henry D (gb) wrote: This was a wonderful sendup of the modern news-as-entertainment culture done in Hartley's signature style. While this was not his best film, at the end, I could relate to both Beatrice and the Monster. Helen Mirren was brilliant as always, and her over-the-top antics were just right for her role as The Boss.
David D (ag) wrote: This is a monster movie that isn't a horror movie; a very serious comedy; a self-referential parody of the media that is really about much more than the media. It is an intellectually novel and quite version of the myth of Beauty and the Beast. Excellent acting, beautiful Icelandic scenery, and a quirky story make this film a real pleasure to watch.
Benjamin C (es) wrote: Despite the language, this movie was pretty good!!
John M (ca) wrote: For some reason as I child I watched this like seven times. I don't know why, it's awful. Some of the imagery is pretty nifty though, nee the goombas and the bomb-ombs. The plot generally makes no sense however and has very little to do with the Mario franchise.

Michael M (gb) wrote: While I'll never understand how they fuck the Dukes over in that final scene, this movie is still one of my Christmas favorites (along with Die Hard, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, and A Christmas Story). Akyroyd and Murphy are phenomenal. Great score. Great movie. And Jamie Lee's huge cannons bared to the world. What more can you ask for really?
Moya W (kr) wrote: This is my favourite movie in the Harry Potter-franchise along with the first one. The beginning wasn't that strong, but the rest of it is so good that it doesn't really matter. It's exciting and it has a bit of everything. Most certainly entertaining.
