Geoffrey Rush came to films late in his career. Shine was his star-making debut, and he made the most of it by winning the oscar for best actor an out-acting Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient) which is a great actor.

It had a decent enough story and the cast could act, which helped alot. the effects were not as bad as i feared so this film is very watchable.

Todo pasa por algn motivo, no te cruzas diariamente a personas porque s, algn efecto tendrn en tu vida en algn momento. A pesar de que en ocasiones es un poco enredada, es una muy buena pelcula y la recomiendo completamente.

(es) wrote: Arronofsky seems more focused on mortifying the audience than telling a good story with his disturbing images and idiot plot narrative. The characters act so stupidly, whatever sympathy we have for them is completely eradicated by the end. Dark, disgusting and overall, bad. I do not recommend.
