(it) wrote: Zero momentum and botched execution of the simple stupidity of a killer birds movie make this a complete waste of time.
(au) wrote: This real time account of the terrorist attacks on United 93 bypasses exploitive action and violence and provides a fresh sobering perspective on how 9/11 played out in front of the front liners.

(jp) wrote: Decent enough drama starring Maggie Gyllenhaal as a alcoholic drug addicted slutty single mother who has recently been released from prison, and doesn't really try all that hard to better her life, even though she sometimes pretends she really is working hard. Old habits are hard to kick and she quickly falls back into old patterns. Drinking, banging and blowing every guy that happens to have anything she needs...she is a bad mother but thinks she is much better. It is a decent enough drama, and I kind of liked that it didn't have a "she magically betters herself" ending. It was truer to itself that way.

(es) wrote: This film is just wrong on so many levels that I can't even begin to start explaining it... if you love your films very un-PC, highly offensive, completely disgusting, wildly racist, overtly sexist, showing a total disregard for both human and animal life and wildly over the top then this is definately the film for you. If you are in the least bit easily shocked then give this a miss, you really won't enjoy it.This film has little to no chance of ever being seen in the UK but is well worth hunting down if you love such titles as 'Street Trash', 'Bad Taste' or 'Brain Dead'... although it makes them seem very tame by comparison. OK, the charachters are a little cardboard and some of the acting is terrible but it's one of those films that is a joy to watch if you love shock cinema, definately one for an evening's drinking & bad movies!!!

(ru) wrote: Over the top action, may be what some people expect from SciFi, but it's not what Star Trek is about. The story line was fragmented and really stretched the viewers ability to believe, and the death defying leaps and super human action sequences should be left to the Marvel Comics franchise. The movie was okay at best, but not worth Rushing to the big screen about.
