Mike L (it) wrote: Typical B horror. Not overly interesting or memorable but good enough for a rainy day if you're not expecting an award winner

Meredith W (mx) wrote: A good stupid movie that had a few laughs, but was only really saved by such a good cast and cameos. Michael Cera, is good but Jack Black seems to try too hard to just be the same in every film. Paul Rudd is a standout.

Cory A (jp) wrote: I probably would have liked this film more had it not been in any way related to The Dancing Outlaw. The very few actual biographical details taken from Jesco White's life are completely gratuitous to the story being told. It could have been anyone. However, the film itself is beautifully put together and very well-acted even if it is pure exploitation.

Cory L (jp) wrote: While the inclusion of Johnny-come-lately Elmo undoubtedly made this Christmas special more accessible to contemporary audiences when it was released in 1997, these later specials can't compare to the far-superior CHRISTMAS EVE ON SESAME STREET (1978), from which they borrowed their musical showpiece, "Keep Christmas With You." It seems the producers knew this as well, since the previous year's A SESAME STREET CHRISTMAS CAROL offered little more than recycled footage from the first special. In short, Elmo enthusiasts will be pleased with ESC; everyone else will likely find him just as shrill and cloying as ever.

Suneel J (au) wrote: You can't really judge this film based on anything but being a television special. In that regard, its decent enough to please its core audience. It is clearly directly aimed at the fans of the ever popular "Saved By The Bell" television series. It is unusual, at first, to see the gang act like they do without audience laughter interjecting their jokes. The plot is in tune with what you would expect from the group's adventures in the show, but nothing special. It isn't up to par with anything from the series, but it will satisfy fans well enough.

Don S (br) wrote: I don't know what was worse - Brad Davis' acting or the screeching musical score. Billy is a dick, plain and simple. He evoked no sympathy whatsoever. But the Turkish James Gandolfini was cool!

James H (ca) wrote: 54/100. The combination of Brian De Palma and Danny De Vito certainly should have been better than this. It does have so funny scenes, but there are way too many misfires and silly humor for it to work. The cast tries, but they don't have enough good material to work with.

David W (us) wrote: When you watch CaddyShack now, it's nothing special. But, that doesn't mean it is entertaining with a cast plus a awesome soundtrack to accompany life at the country club.....

Kyle M (nl) wrote: Mixes "Finding Nemo" to "Madagascar" with "The Lion King" in design while having some sort of blandness, but it's still fairly enjoyable at the animation and occasional comedy. (B)(Full review coming soon)
