Twins S (gb) wrote: A superb animation..although the action is subvert to more deep dialogues it is a far more mind tripping than its original..SPOILERalthough the movie might seems a continuation of the cult Ghost in the Shell,This second instalment was meant to be a stand alone project

Christopher F (mx) wrote: the first puppet master movie made after Full moon became an independant company. and it shows. The puppet effects went WAY down hill and most of the time using stock footage of them moving from earlier movies. IN one scene where they dont use stock footage YOU CAN SEE THE HAND HOLDING THE PUPPET. This is unacceptable. Also the "ending" dont get me started. A very dissapoiinting movie. The only reason i gave this a 1 and not a 1/2 star is because the acting is decent at parts. unless your a die hard fan STAY AWAY

Jeremy S (ag) wrote: Sadly (?), this movie has fallen out of copyright, so it's very unlikely we'll ever get a decently restored DVD version of this movie. Is it trite? Yes, in many, many ways, especially in relation to the Leigh/Olivier romantic sub-plot. The marvel here, though, is Flora Robson's Elizabeth I, for my money still the best one committed to film. She's stern, steely, gruff and even a bit philosophical, with none of the bombast evident in Judi Dench's performance or the soporific navel-gazing of Cate Blanchett's. This is Robson's movie all the way, and her speech to the troops at Tillbury is still very effective.

Jamie C (fr) wrote: Paranormal Activity is a slow burning found footage film that drags the first hour out with the odd scary bit, Then in the last 15 minutes it comes to life but not enough to make up for the first hour, The plot is simple but affective, A few scares but more freaky than anything.
