Blow Out

Jack Terry is a master sound recordist who works on grade-B horror movies. Late one evening, he is recording sounds for use in his movies when he hears something unexpected through his sound equipment and records it. Curiosity gets the better of him when the media become involved, and he begins to unravel the pieces of a nefarious conspiracy. As he struggles to survive against his shadowy enemies and expose the truth, he does not know whom he can trust.

While recording sound effects for a slasher flick, Jack Terri stumbles upon a real-life horror: a car careening off a bridge and into a river. It's the evidence that proves that a car accident was actually murder and consequently Jack finds himself in danger. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Joe E (us) wrote: The action can't really replace the stupidiy of the story. The acting is somewhat b rated and the action at that also ain't all that but i would be lieing if i said that this movie completely sucked. It was a fun movie but towards the end it did seem a little outplayed. Decent but was expecting more i guess

Alexa B (fr) wrote: First of all, to give the movie credit, it's really funny. I loved those funny situations during her first TV appearance so much, and there were so many huge moments in the movie, it's definitely worth watching it.But I've got to do some criticizing too. Now, I don't wanna sound more emancipated than I am, but I think the fact that she gave up her job to become a mother again was really.... well, you name it. I know, it's a movie from 1963, but after having seen "Lover come back" and "Pillow talk" where Day played career women, I think it would have been a better ending if the two had managed to do both jobs and family... Nevertheless, as I said, it's really worth watching it (even though I totally missed Rock Hudson.... ;) )

Matt H (ag) wrote: Not bad, not bad at all. Really really good even.

Jacob B (ag) wrote: Elf occasionally has some uneven moments but Will Ferrell's performance, plenty of laughs and even a little bit of charm to it make it a better-than-average Christmas movie in one of Ferrell's most unforgettable roles to date...and that unforgettable role is in one of his more family-friendly offerings.

The storyline for this picture is terrible and on par with the last couple Spy Kids movies. The special effects are disappointing as is the acting. The cast includes Frankie Muniz, Hilary Duff, Keith David, Angie Harmon, Ian McShane, and Arnold Vosloo."You make a really bad first impression, and terrible second..."I came across this on HBOGO and thought it would be a fun movie to watch with my daughter.
