Steve W (ca) wrote: A mafia hitman finds himself with a crisis of conscience after shooting a little girl by accident. His boss is a lot less sympathetic, and sends him to finish the job by killing the little girl's mother. Instead of doing this, Gon decides to find redemption by saving this suicidal widowed mother, but by incurring the wrath of his fellow hitmen. The movie itself is a sleek and stylized action flick, as its the director of The Man from Nowhere. The character motivation is a bit on the weaker side this time around, as Gon has no real reason not to kill his latest target and doesn't fall in love with her or anything. Besides his tumultuous childhood, there's nothing else to show his motivation and the film's only highlight is the bloody action scenes. They are very well directed, with tons of firepower and badass fight scenes spread throughout. No Tears for the Dead slips up on the character development, but it has plenty of style to out with a bang.

Elokuvan tekijt ovat saanet tunnelman alussa hyvksi ennen elokuvan knnekohtaa jonka jlkeen alkava murhaajan puinti lssht vlill mutta kiinnostus palaa taas loppua kohden.Elokuvan ohjaaja sek ksikikirjoittaja ovat hyvin Irakin sotavastaisia henkilit elokuvan perusteella sodan jrjettmyys tulee hyvin esille sek myskin Amerikan oikeusjrjestn toiminta.

Charlie C (es) wrote: From the studio that created Ghost in the Shell and Blood: The Last Vampire. Don't worry too much about the story. It is fractured and ends abruptly (made in Japan. It happens?!) It looks lovely though. The animation is sweet and the reserved pallet gives the film it's own style. Just sit back and soak up the visuals.

JohnnyLee T (gb) wrote: Did the title come from Alexander Pope? I loved the imagery, the music and the warmth of Jim Carrey's performance. And great to see an (early?) Mark Ruffalo. But I just wonder what the concept of the movie is.
Leslie A (ca) wrote: One of Michael Mann's weakest films. Oddly muted and at times quite boring. Muhammad Ali deserves a better movie made about him.

Andrew M (kr) wrote: 101 Dalmatians is amazing and heartwarming. Disney does a great job making an instant classic into a movie. This movie is full of laughs and it makes a great family movie. I would very much suggest this movie.

Jeff B (br) wrote: Despite painting the super-spy into an oftentimes boring corner, Brosnan's second Bond outing at least boasts pulse-pounding action set pieces that never say die. Okay, so the 18th 007 adventure fails to put forth the most ambitious story but the dust-ups that result boast enough explosive awesomeness to warrant your full attention. Take for example one ridiculously exciting bit of staging that results in a BMW motorcycle jumping over the rotating blades of a chopper hovering between rooftops. It's winning moments like this, however, that punctuate a largely connect-the-dots tale where even an ace actor like Pryce can't make spiked lemonade out of a lemon of a villain that's so dull on paper. In this PG-rated spy thriller, James Bond (Brosnan) heads to stop a media mogul's (Pryce) plan to induce war between China and the UK in order to obtain exclusive global media coverage. Brosnan has his shtick down pat by Tomorrow Never Dies, which is good and bad. Connery and (later) Craig got better as they went along, which enhanced sometimes sub-standard material. The actor formerly known as Remington Steel by this point in his career, however, seems to operate on charismatic auto-pilot. Being only as good as your material only works insofar as the quality of the material and co-stars. Action aside, Michelle Yeoh as hard-hitting Chinese spy Wai Lin proves way more memorable than Bond's ex-girlfriend, played by Teri Hatcher, which is perfect summary as to the film' concentration on stylish over substantive. Sadly, the material behind his next such outing wouldn't have Brosnan's back nearly as much.Bottom line: Sociopath Media
